Pfftt Portal Key is overrated. I used to buy it a lot,thinking it was a great way to escape. But that 3sec cooldown everytime you get hit is a pain in the @ss =( If your gonna use the Key,its probably because your running away from someone chasing you...therefore 3 sec cooldown =(

Portal key is not a great way to escape unless you can juke really well in the jungle, and its much better for starting battles, or chasing.
Heroes like behemoth, legion, or tempest are amazing with portal key.

guess i can say i am decent now, very proud of my psr improvement over 3 days.

on another topic the dark lady is a very underrated character, seen her in action a couple of times now and she is full of win besides for maybe the cooldown on her ult but still.

btw in case any1 is wondering i been winning games with elec mainly, he is a great team core and that pretty much sums it up. if you are wondering how i build him i usually do armor, both phy and mag. go this route and you will soon be a rock that refuses to go anywhere, best part is that build is cheap and this is a very good thing since you are a tank and wont be netting as many kills.

Well I did say I appreciated your help, it's just that the way you said it didn't seem so nice to me, I don't know why, so sorry if I offended you.

About posting builds, you can find a variety of build for every single hero on the Heroes Of Newerth Forums.

And since I am so kind, I went and found one.

http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showt ... hp?t=18145

Its a guide for every single hero so far, tells you how to distribute skills, what items to get, what the heroes job is and so on.

Sorry love =/
Been really busy at college because my exams are comming...
Didn't have any chance to get back home early.
Hopefully, this Thursday i'm making that review you've been waiting for =( (got a important test at wednesday)

Extra: Don't think this game is all about get good items and so. After all, it's a game where the chance of winning is about your team play.

Chronos, Madman, and some others are oped when farmed. It is just that wildsoul can farm easier, though he is less op than other carries.

Im happy to see razor attack animation is no longer oped.. and not sure if his range really needed a decrease.

Think I might try warbeast now..

No he's too ugly :P
Although even if the "animation" is nerfed,how does that make him less good at denying? Its just the "animation",and not the "projectile speed",right? =O

For Love: lol
This is my humble guide about "What the f*ck should i buy for my heroe?" from my experience...
First of all, just to make clear; i suck at INT/MAG heroes. So, i'm used to STR/TANKS builds.
But no worries, since i play dota (and i have played with almsot 98% of the heroes [80% in HoN]) i know a bit what do Level up and/or buy.
Feel free to criticize me, just don't flame.
I'm more the surviving/half-Damage dealer type of build.

Ok, now. We started a game! Hell yeah, finally the HOST decided to press the damn "Start Game" Button.

Now we are in the "Select your hero" frame.
On this case we choose Andromeda (Since you mentioned her when requesting this guide). Overall, a ranged AGI heroe. I play with her some times, well... rarely. But yeah, she's pretty good. Her dmg + lower defense + stun is unstopable (and even better, if the enemie heroe tries to escape, you can use her awesome ULT).
We are in a 5vs5 game. Geez, pretty low gold we got here. (Aprox 603g)

Now, what should i buy in the start?
Back then, i used to buy a Marchers (500g) and a Heatlth Potion (100).
Oh, my... really newbies days. Then i used to buy Soulscream Ring (460g) and something else (Homecoming stone or HP). But now, i have two options: Else i spend all my money on a single Bottle (600g)(Pretty usefull, since the bottle will replenish after capturing a rune) OR (1) Iron Buckler (250g), a Mana Battery (200g), 1 Mana Potion (50g) and 1 Runes of the Blight (90g). TOTAL: 590g.
With those last stuff you can pretty tank some creeps, face/annoy some heroes and farm a bit for gold/level. Enough to get around 1.2k gold or so.
Around 8 or 10 mins have passed. You got some decent gold and/or the BloodLust have already been done.

Then, the game have just really started. For the next stuff i recommed to get for a AGI-ranged heroe is Enhanced Marchers (1500g). With this, you get Extra MV and AS bonus plus the ability to 'run faster'.
At this time, we are about in levels 6 or 7. I usually get the Active Skills (Such as Stunners, Defense Lowers, etc).
If you got enough money, buy the rest pieces of the Power Supply (you will only need 309 gold for the rest, since you bought the Mana Battery at the begining).

The power Supply helped me so many times that i don't remember. Try to save the more charges you can hold, then go gank/face/vs against the enemies heroes. If the gank/fight etc fail, or you're trying to escape to survive, you can use those charges to avoid the penalty of dying. :)
But don't worry, i know this thing is only usefull at early in game, so later in game we will sell it at the most near store. :d

The weakness of an agi hero is their HP. They are the 2nd heroe that will be targered by others, since they die fast because the lack of their HP (the first one are INT heroes). Since you have the Iron Buckler, go get the Helm of Black Legion (+1975g).
I forgot to mention, ALWAYS carry (when able) a Homecoming Stone. It's usefull, trust me.
Now, you have a decent build, enough to survive. What's next? DAMAGE.

The next thing wich can give you +38 dmg and +10 AS and grant the Ability to go invisible (plus a 20% MV) is the Assassin Shroud. This will suit perfectly to most of the AGI heroes.
Because, not even gives you some decent damage, it will also save your life!
You just have to use it wisely. (:

Now we are in the mid-later game. I'm so excited, i'm wining and got some kills (lol!). Now it's time to get more serious stuff.
Those are Wingbow and Shieldbreaker. Those items will be hard to farm, so sell your 'no long usefull items' on your inventory (such as Power Sypply) and try, when you can, go through the forest and kill some Neutrals Creeps.
The Combination of those two 'artefacts' is devastator. Wingbow will greatly increase you AS, some decent damage and 30% Evasion and the Shieldbreaker will provide you a huge amount of damage, because his passive lowers the foe's defense by -6.
Omg, pretty sure if a enemy hero is alone... go get him while invisible and surprise him from behind. His guard will be shattered and you'll add a kill to your stats.
You could get a Kongor kill to get the Token of life? after getting those weapons or before them. This gives you an advantage.

Oops, my HoN crashed -_-. I think this concludes the guide.
Maybe you'll not agreed with me, but this is my self experience and thats how i win my games (with agi heroes). Maybe, there's a better build. No doubt, but i said i more used to tankers. So until next episodeee lol

Extra notes: Some people often buy the Thunderclaw early in game. That's a good option, since this artefact will aid you to farm. (specially to those aoeless heroes)
And others get some HP Steal artefacts. it's nice in a 1vs1 battle because agi heroes have a great AS.

Legend:
AS: Attack Speed
MV: Movement Speed
Noob: me =(

I'm not often buy/do the same thing on this guide. It's always depends my type of heroe and the type of the enemies heroes. etc
I am not responsible for the people who whine because this guide didn't work. Follow it at your own risk. 10k plýs menz

WTF [TGM] got disbanded?!

EDIT: nvm...
Hello everyone,

as most of you know there was a training grounds clan called Training Grounds Militia or TGM for short. The clan disbanded but only to merge with another clan which is the clan I run called Unknown Brigade. So to all confused TGM members the clan still exists you just have to ask myself for an invite to the clan and I will send one as soon as I possibly can. Either post here, PM me, or send me an in game message.
So don't fear TGM is still here just with a new name and some new faces.
Also I will be offering help to any members in need of some pointer for the game basically the mentor program but inside the clan...

Thanks everyone,

~~~Jon
TGM was disbanded because the leader DenyTheTruth could not overwatch the clan, as the clan's purpose was screwed up... alot of inhouse games were fail with unbalanced teams, and people didnt really learn anything.
mirosuke thanks a lot for the guide and special thanks to olen for the link, i was able to find the real HoN forum which i so dreaded. my skills went from w/e i was to an actual HoN player and i can finally say i enjoy playing HoN couse i now understand what is actually happening. btw i joined a brazilian clan with a bunch of players in the age group of 20 and is just awesome, we simply have fun and do so well.
btw my advice for new players or those who arent that good at the game is this. go watch some youtube vids on how to kill deny and last hit, is simple and it makes a huge difference and no you arent magically supposed to know how ( and being ok is not good enough, go watch the vids dammit, lulz ). with that out of the way you want to know another thing, for the first part of the game there is something you want to build and that is stats items, namely bracers with your boots.
ill continue on this later but ya ill try to give little tips now that i know the game very well. btw everything i said on my other post is a fail ball, do yourself a favor and ignore that. buying armor is as bad as it gets by itself.
I just fail to understand why you ask for our help and then try to give us advice. :\
Glad you're liking the game. I played some games yesterday, damn I'm rusty, I stopped playing for a couple months and I need to get back to it.
Also, i hope you are OK in that brazilian clan. Just, i wouldn't be in a brazilian thing :/
