Neat montage, I was curious about the various takedowns Adam can come up with, but I try to keep the number of victims at a minimum for now.

Apart from the art book, that weapon is the main reason why I wanted a special edition. OvO

I can't stop playing this game. I feel the need to hack everything that's hackable, open everything that's openable, explore everything that's explorable.
Level 5 hacking all the way.

I hate combat when the enemy just runs up next to you. It's impossible to kill them fast and then they just kill you in like 2 shots.

Generally I try to sneak by enemies. If I get into combat I hope to god they don't just run up an shoot me from 3 feet away.

Yeah the first boss is ridiculous, but all you have to do is just continuously stun him with your stun gun if you have one, and then switch to a shot gun and unload that shit on him. Rinse and repeat. It took me a couple of tries cause I kept getting close to him and he would wombo combo me to death :\

If the first boss is that hard, i'm terrified of the second boss.

I'm not at the second boss yet, but yea I'm scared. I almost never died until I got to the first boss. I died like 10 times. In the end, I just threw an emp grenade, then two frags, then unloaded a bunch of shotgun shells, while circling around one of the pillars xD

I love this game. Image
Definitely worth the wait.

Also, we'll get DLC!

http://www.deusex.com/themissinglink

The Deus Ex: Human Revolution conspiracy grows deeper in The Missing Link. During Adam's quest for the truth in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, he mysteriously vanishes for three days. Where was he? What did he find out? The Missing Link reveals it all.

After being tortured by Belltower agents and having his augmentations disabled, Adam Jensen must rely solely on his basic capabilities to escape from a freighter, destined for an unknown location. While fighting for his survival on the ship, he uncovers another layer to the conspiracy that he never would have suspected. As Adam, befriend new, mysterious allies and fight ruthless enemies to discover what was happening in the shadows during the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution!

--------
I'd love to play the game and DLC in chronological order, and since I just got to the point where the DLC will start, that'd have been great.
Considered waiting until the DLC is out, but honestly I can't wait that long. I've already waited for years to play the next Deus Ex game.

I almost wish the DLC was already on the disc.
Usually I don't appreciate developers pulling that prank, but in this case I can live with it.

Eidos held a little bit of a scavenger hunt that hinted to the DLC and the setting in which it takes place, but I didn't participate as I was afraid of spoilers.

Also, here's some screenies:
Spoiler!

Police station was a pain in the ass for me. I didn't know the sequence for getting Haas to let me in, so it took me FOREVER to find another way in.

They need to make this into a movie so I can watch the **** out of it.
Also because my computer probably couldn't run Deus Ex and even if it did it costs too damn much.

Played through the first mission hub and have to say I'm really disappointed at their skill system. With hacking and inventory maxed I pretty much have everything I need and don't really care about experience points anymore, which also means I don't really have motivation to go explore alternate paths and secret areas unless I'm just bored. I have more ammo than I'll probably every use in the whole game and so much money I can just buy an entire skill tree whenever they restock kits at the clinics, with more money to use on more ammo.

Maybe it's cause I started at medium difficulty only to switch to hard after 2 missions that I'm picking up obscene amounts of money and ammo but with money tied to skill lvl ups directly it pretty much takes 100% of the RPG element out of the game. I can just get every skill.

You can only get 2 Praxis Credits/LIMB Clinic per visit(to that city) I believe.

Oh, they never restock? Will that sucks, guess I'll be swimming in a pool filled with ammo then. There's nothing to spend money on if you want to maximize xp with ghost + smooth operator since you don't use ammo when you do that.

I wasn't going to buy it because I don't really need any single player PC games. I caved in today. Just need to wait :(

Image

I looked at the augmented edition on steam but it didn't mention a sniper rifle. I guess I missed out. I'm hoping to go that route in game.
