My friend who is new to RTS is going to sell me Starcraft 2 for 30$ He pretty much raged at how bad he's at the game.

you have to be near the top of your league to get promoted

That's not true, you just have to have a magic number of win/losses in a set time. (at least that's the theory on how blizz does it. After x games it looks at your past y games and weighs that win/loss ratio against your total win/loss and decides if you get promoted)

I was away for the past week and now I'm back to sc2 but I've got a doubt, I started out with Terran and then moved on to Protoss to start void rushing, atm I'm way more used to playing toss but after getting my zealots raped and by slowing marauders I kinda felt like void rushing was way too heavily based on how bad the enemy was... so yeah what do you suggest? should I stick with protoss and just get better with it or...

Lost 3 2v2 games in a row, then won 1 vs 2v2 diamond and got promoted to platinum..
won 7/9 games in 1v1 and still haven't been promoted to diamond from plat..even after beating high ranked diamond players.
won 3/5 3v3 placements playing with a friend who has no sc2 experience..only got bronze league =|
Lameeeeee =(

Question ladies.
So I'm download SC2 (friend gave it to me yay <3 ). Of course he already has a B.Net account. Will I be able to make a new B.Net profile like in Warcraft 3?
If not,can I at least delete his profile and make my own?

Pretty sure you have to use his. You can change the email and password linked to the Bnet account. Hopefully he doesn't have other games attached to it.
There is some name change thing too..not sure about it.
At best you can call blizzard and ask, but who knows.

I decided to dedicate to 2v2s from now on, I feel alot less pressure playing them Just finished my placement matches, think I won 3 or 2 out of the 5, I also did some 2vA.I on Hard to just practice overall... And I'm also trying the stats/build orders the other guys use to defeat me, which so far has proved to be pretty useful.

Alright got the account. Now I want to play the Storyline from the start he's already pretty advanced. He told me he didn't mind if I started from zero. So my question, can I erase his current Storyline progress so I can start from the beginning?
