well I HAD MW2, but i put it in to play, and it has a crack in no more than a cm in length, and it it wont play now, so is there any fix possible(i already returned it once cuz someone knocked over my console), and I really don't wanna pay $60 again for something I already paid $60 for -_-"

You sell it back to gamestop for like $40 and you pay the $2 scratch fix, then you buy a new one for $60.
If you don't want to pay again you should take care of your shit.
They don't buy anything back for that much. Anyhow I was ganna say rent the game and return it. Workers are usually retarded and don't care. What dom said is more.. legit. lol

They've bought a game from me for $40. It was a brand new release though that I took back 3 weeks later. He could get $20 I would say if that even.
It's only possible if you don't take care of your PC/Console. I would know, because my PS2 games were still all clean with no scratches. I check out my friend(He handled the discs the proper way as well and took care of it) his PS2 would scratch up the discs. Why? I dunno probably because he dropped multiple times. That's just scratches though. No cracks, but I guess cracks can occur when you drop it with the game inside? Again I don't see how it is possible if the system didn't fall down or hasn't been damaged.
PC.. now I never had that happened to me nor have heard of anyone happening to them.

!!! really, hmm, my pc is closed in except for the top and back (for intake and outake fans) and my 360 usually is flat bottom on my tv set (unless cousin borrows), i make sure my pc is dusted on the inside (even though this is way off topic) and stuff like that, I take care of them trust me
Simple He is lying. If something on the inside was causing a 'crack' it would appear in more than one spot because the disk rotates. Even on entry you don't put the disk the same way every time, thus more than one 'crack' would show up.
tldr
u did it
shit happens. Buy a used copy and get it guaranteed...or do the rent/switch shit, but that's immoral.
so I take a piece of tape(transparent) and put it the printed side. I put it over the cracked and flattened it out on a non-scratch surface. This gave me enough time to install it on my harddrive so I could just pop in the cd w/o worrying about messing up the tape I LOVE TAPE!
yah i also noticed that i had cracks all around the center, they circled the inside area all the around, but they were small enough not to look as if it would cause malfunction, so I only covered the biggest one, and it worked

I remember my old pc haha, the cd player thingy didn't have a stop on it so if I would open it the disc would be spinning on full speed when it came out xD Yeah that ruined quite some discs rofl.

lol @ Mosh.
I tried using tape on the top <3 It made it actually playable... but wouldn't let me install to my hard drive. Now it's going to be up to blockbuster to fix it
