im not winning this argument. But i stand by everything i said, we will lose this war on a matter of tactics because of a matter of ethics...

dictatorship is a government ran by the military which at this point in time this confederation(the military) saying you have to ahear to these rules or else you are mocked and flamed upon(punishment).

The confederation is not a "living entity" but is more of a group of guilds that are legit, and most of the confederates do not actively participate in "the war." Their actions are more or less passive aggressive.

Have you never been on Venus? Cause um, if I remember correctly, our guilds and parties are always full. There are SO many people in the Confederation that both adhear to and like the way the rules are set. Your a noob and deserve to be flamed, casey is a noob and deserves to be flamed, and the whole thought of a legit alternative to an already legit solution is laughably flamable. I am surprised that this hasn't had more replies then this already.

Man, who cares?!, usually, some of bots ask us to join confederation, because they saw the speed of our parties.
That shows that legits play fair and grind fast.

What on gods green fcking earth do you think we've done? Are you for real? Legits from every fcking server in SRO have flocked to Venus because we've done exactly this. You've got to be joking. There's a small minority of people who are resentful for whatever reason (Casey, Naijel, that paranoid French chick, etc) but Venus is a massive success for legits because we've done exactly what you say.


By what criteria? Fort wars? Guild wars? PvP? Gold owned? Server traffic? By what fcking measure are you going to tell me that the bots are winning on Venus?


Meh. This rankles some legits. Others take pride in it. Most just laugh and realize it doesn't really affect them all that much and they'll overlook it as long as the bot problem is being dealt with.

there are rules in place. and it's the gamers choice to either follow them or not.

If you don't like it, then leave. It is your choice to stay here and be flamed, and it is their choice to stay and be flamed. Everyone has the choice to follow the rules set down by the Confederation on Venus. They can either choose to join us, and have access to everything that we enjoy, or they don't and have to make the game fun on their own. If they don't find it fun, they will leave, and we will just have one more spot for a possible legit player who is looking to join the Confederation. xP

It was time!!!!! Legit rules as many read them look imho like a cage with too small a floor. I'm really bored of those endless discussions in union about what is really legit. This is a game, after all, and the main aim should be to have fun and not impair other ppl's fun. Spamming bots and especially goldbots surely do that, but i hate most any racist stance towards any so-called "bad ppl". Very likely i ask to join u, even if i judge my guild to be pleasant and friendly, all in all.

Don't you get it? This guy posted his 2 rules, but what tells you his rules don't indirectly mean you musn't get bot plvl, for instance? He never proved to be cheating or not, you never proved you were right to be flaming him, yet.

I mean I agree this guy is most likely using a no-DC client and getting bot plvl, I mean if he was really legit he wouldn't have dropped out almost all the rules. But you gotta prove it. Get a screenshot or two of him breaking the legit rules and he gets banned from the forums.

I searched his guild on Rev6, this guy's alone in the guild. He's lvl 32 just to give you an idea of where you can try to find him.

Ppl keep saying this is just a game. Yes it is a game where ppl shouldnt cheat. If there werent any botters, we wouldnt have this discussion. We wouldnt need confederation to enforce the rules. If you want to have fun with botters, go to other servers. U have another 31 servers to choose from. Yet u came here where we fight against botters 24/7. If you dont have the same mentality, go. Move away, we dont need u here. U can make friends with botters, party with them all the time, hell go afk and let them lvl for you but do this on other servers. Once u're in Venus, u are either with us, or against us. No fckin grey area.

Well maybe it's time to be a bit serious.
I'm way older than teenage and in my life met my share of violence and intolerance. Believe me, i'm well equipped to know both when i meet them. Venus, as any other server, is not property of anyone, so none can say "go away". SRO, imho, has to be a "free" game more in the meaning of closeness to freedom than "w/o spending money"; so, if i had to choose, i prefer to fight against KKK and racist mentality than against stupid botters. If this disturb anyone, let him/her feel free to came and kill me in game. If this makes his/her immature and crapped ego feel better, welcome. Moreover, i believe that whoever does not conforms to the rules of a guild or union is dutily put off, but to try to ban from a server is quite another matter and reminds me of untasty historical events too much closer to our time to be forgotten.
For ending, besides not botting, i gave me (ONLY TO ME, pls notice), a set of rules, just to be well mannered in game:
1) never spam
2) never beg
3) never murder
4) never ks
5) being always kind and helpful when correctly adddressed
All these look to me far more important than bot killing

@Shazam! Oyu, i read ur reply; i agree with u on the rightness of behaving well also when gaming, but forcily oppose the choice of inviting whomever to go away, especially w/o politeness. Well even some of my friends from a bot server came here and told me how much they liked venus (2 weeks ago they joined)

And about ppl flamming well in here theres no gray area and cant be...soo u are with us or againts us..its ur choice..or why dont u go to another server and try to grind ??? impossible!!!

And if you want to get plv is bcz u wanna lv up but u cant do it on your own for whatever reason u have (mostly bcz ur lazy = same as bot, or bcz ur cant grind lots lots of bots) and cheats its just dumb.

theres a grey area in everything...thats just life whether you want to admit it or not. This is not to say the middle way is effective all the time but still it does exist.

rules are rules. you dont collect 20,000 when you pass go. thats just stupid. and you dont let a programe play the game for you. you can argue all you want that bots are people too, but they are worthless people.

and just like you disqualify people in RL games for cheating, the Confederation of Venus disqualifies all bots and bot supporters on Venus. Thats as simple as it gets.

Yes there is a grey area in everything but on Venus the grey area can gtfo as much as the black area. 'Nuff said.

Besides your theory doesn't even work here: either you cheat or you don't cheat (but theres no place for people who cheat here). There is no "half-cheating" or being "hybrid legit".

Online or Offline it is still part of "real life;" therefore, cheating online does not somehow make it any less worse than cheating offline. Cheating is cheating and that's final. You either cheat or don't cheat. Once cheating becomes clearly defined there is no gray area.

Venus is the best server in SRO, really. Those of us who started on Venus back in the beginning fought so hard for this Confederation and to see it in full swing... Its amazing to me. One damn server in 31 is ours and even then some jackoff like Xemnas thinks we should let botters coexist peacefully. Bitch please... Instead of blabbing in this thread, get your friends together and come to Venus, maybe you will have more luck than sObscene did.
