there is no best, it is purely what you want to be.

need some cash? want to explore a little more? go trader.

want to steal? are you sneaky? want to work with a guild and make traders panic? go thief

want to work for justice? want to have a good feeling when you help traders? go hunter

You won't make money trading @ level 20, just a heads up.

No job is the best, jobs depend on what you want to do.

Trader = Money maker
Thief = Owning trader + really crappy money
Hunter = Owning lots and lots of thieves.

So thief and hunter are jsut there to own other players and trader is used to make lots of money.

i'd say hunter makes the -least- money personally. thieves don't make much, but hunters only make money if the traders split it with them.

but for fun, thieving is where i turn ^^

Traders make more money (if they are smart).
Theives get the best adreniline rush. This is a difficult profession at low levels (<30)

you don't ave to pick just 1, after you get lvl 30 its easier to become a hunter or thief cause you can attack more caravans and not be lower lvl than the merchant.....

as to merchants "not making money"
i just did a trade run yesterday from jangan to dongwang (i'm lvl 20) i put about 15-16k into it and sold everything at 387% so i made a profite of 30-60k i'de like to see someone grind that in half an hour (unless there like lvl 30 and up)

so yes, being lvl 20 and just doing 1 star trades is profitable

well, at level 20 my drops were pretty good(through about lvl 27-28), so i could easily pull in money from mobs, moreso than i could from trade runs, trust me. and this was off things from chakjis, hyungno's, earth ghosts...

but now, stupid monsters aren't dropping crap for me, recently i've actually been ending up with LESS money after repotting from grinding. in the last 2 days i think i've only gotten like 2-3 equip drops. only 9 eggs throughout the entire event, etc, so i'm broke as a joke right now.

Grinding on Earth Ghosts and Meek Gunpowders, I can assure you I make about 100k/hour. I have no idea why, but they drop random 4th degree equipment all day long. ALL THE TIME. Weapons, armor, protector, some garment that I used for myself, lots of jewelry, a bunch of elixirs and such. I'm getting 4 or 5 times more equipment than eggs.
