This is the best I've ever seen but when I want to change my +3 blade and follow the step "31 20 09 33" (with the Y and X) and klick on "OK" it say's "String not found" what must I do??

ok i've been trying it, i,m doing a glow from white to black but can you choose like only +4 without affecting +3? cause it seem like you can only select them by their actual glow :S
so if I understand it well a 52+4 sword would be 4 -3 and it's the same as a 42 spear +3 right? now I changed the color to 1.000,1.000,1.000 0.000,0.000,0.000 but the spear is still glowing white and can't check the sword cause i'm not high enough yet :S
anyone can tell me what's wrong?

ok i've been trying to change it to 0.000,0.000,0.000 0.000,0.000,0.000 to full blakc glow as you said but it just removed the glow... and I've tryed 0.001 and change nothing :S

That would be it .. you only really want the numbers before prim\mtrl\itemoption\option_texture13.ddj after that is the detail of the color, which you wont be needing at this stage.

I get one glow shine even though I did it twice, trying to replace a +3 glow with a +9. It works okay, not all is perfect.
I was wondering if you had any clues on how to change the imbue to a higher level? Also changing the players animations. I keep fiddling with stuff I don't know. I can't go through media.pk2 since my PK2 Extractor is giving me a illegal operation, so I wanted to ask here.

Never really tried that to be honest, It's perfectly possible tho to change animations and like make heaven chain look like a glaive chain or something.
Or even lvl 1 book 1 fire imbue make it look like lvl 3 book 4 light imbue.
Might get working on a tut for that soon.

That would be great and would be cool if you can host the characterskills files. My PK2 extractor is still giving me "The ntvdm cpu has encountered an illegal instruction."
And last time I check, you only get those errors trying to open a 16bit program in NT. >,<

I changed my 56+3 sword to a +9 glow and then I wanted to change my 52+3 sos spear into a 52+9 sosun spear, did the sun glow and now I want to change the +9 glow..but its already changed from the sword.
So that means that every +3 weapon with a 4 as entry will glow like +9?
/Edit: very nice guide, really.. I tryed it with Cruor's but I just didnt get how to get the itemtype numbers and such cuz the pk2 extractor didnt work..

The option_texture13.ddj defines it's brightness change 13 into say 20 [ Which is the max ] and it will be bright as hell thus increasing the intensity.
The +9 there is I think 18.

Would become
prim/mtrl/itemoption/option_texture18.ddj

 am confused here, as always. now i have a lvl26 Spear +6, could anyone help me and post every thing that i could with it ( diff. colours ), to make it +9 or +7.. and wht is this colours black and green and ..... how do i do these as well with this spear i have ??

i know how to make it +9, but wht i need to know is the codes to these colours ??
ex : 1.000 0.000 0.000 = Red, 0.000 0.000 1.000 = Blue, 1.000 1.000 1.000 = White.
wht if i need a golden glow, code ?? where to get these codes?, thats all wht i need to know here in this topic .. thnks

after the color lines there is a line with text...the last word is textureXX (XX= to digits) change the XX to 20 and you got it really bright if I have it right  (had the same problem)
