This is my Second guide, after that horrible Uri guide (and by horrible, I mean disgustingly detestable) And I decided to come back to iSRO after finding out about euro update

To make a warrior you need :

Pure STR, if your not Pure STR then you are screwed over.
I grind my warrior on a 0 gap and im doing fine with SP. (Im saying you need SP)
A weapon of course.

-Pros/Cons of warriors in general-

=Pros= :D
High HP making them able to take lots of hits and deal decent dmg too.
If your nicely equipped your dmg can be on par with a Wizard
Ownage in High lvls.
You are wanted in PT's cause you can Tank and hold "aggro" (WoW term, ask someone who knows about it, also used in other MMOs)

=Cons= :(
Your going to be stuck with heavy armor or light armor unless you sub a robe wearing class. (Cleric)
This makes you wide open for nukers until 60.
Because of low MP, you use MP potions like Shotgun Orc with bullets.
Your not the best tanker until 10.
Depending on your weapon choice, you are risking one vital trait for another.

1-handed sword
-Pros-
Able to use Shields, meaning they take the LEAST dmg
Their passives makes them a royal buttpain in PvP
-Cons-
WEAK. Their lvl80 10% HP skill only does total 400% Dmg
They appear to be boring due to bad damage, Unless you have a lot of friends that you can PT with often.

2-handed sword
-Pros-
L33t cause im using them
Sacrificing Defence for Offense, they deal loads of damage early
Their lvl20 and lvl30 passives give them a LOT of resources to kill.
VERY Powerful Moves. Our skill at 40 does 487% Raw.
-Cons-
Least defensive power of all warriors
Best at holding aggro, but this can be a hindrance because of above, In the situation in which your PT has a 1h-sword warrior, which SHOULD make a better tank, you will draw away the mobs aggro from him.

Dual Axe
-Pros-
Great all-around Warrior
the Pro above means that they are just about between 2h and 1h swords.
Nice moves. Having a skill that can both stun AND bleed is excellent.
Awesome weapon design.
Warlocks are less effective against them
-Cons-
Their Hybrid-ish position in the Warrior Tree can be a bad thing.

EDIT: Skill Icons have been added 8)

Frenzy Buster
Image

Taunting Target - Causes direct aggro to the mob(s), If you have played WoW, you should know that this skill is VITAL for Tanking. GET IT.

Vital Increase - This skill really helps in PT's, however in case of a PT that doesnt deal efficient damage, do not use it.

Descry - Use this skill to bring out those chicken Rogues. Works on party members too.

Sprint Assault - Excellent in PvP, PvM and PT's, its ranged, does a bit of damage and can STUN.

Iron Skin - If your wearing Heavy Armor, are Pure STR, and have this on, a DD rogue with Stealth Dagger (passive) and Prick wont be able to 1-hit you then quickly re-stealth :!:

Howling Shout - Use 10% HP to perform a powerful (in terms of instant aggro) AoE taunt. Optional but I would recommend it.

Mana Skin - Now you dont have to be afraid of wizards who will pop out of invisible and 1-hit you with Earth Shock/Fire Bolt

Guard Barrier
Image

Pain Quota - This skill doesnt work on you (Sucka) Cast it on another PT member, and if they take damage, they take A PERCENTAGE less damage, the remainder of that is split equally with the entire party. Dont worry about your Casters, your cleric can heal through the "sudden pain".

Physical/Magical Fence - Cast this on another PT member, and they take A PERCENTAGE less Phy/Mag damage! Again, this doesnt work on you. If your an "Off-tank" (another WoW term) you can cast Fence(s) and Pain Quota on the Main Tank and they will be nearly impervious to damage!

Protect - For a few seconds, the aggro that a PT member will cause to a mob will be re-directed to you. Great for Life-controlled wizards!

Physical/Morale Screen - Think about Fences, except they last much shorter and they directly add DEFENCE, instead of subtracting a Percentage of the damage and whisking it away. 'Nuff said.

One-handed Lord and One-handed Sword
Image
The One-handed sword Warrior's skill set. Lord is passives, Sword is the real deal.

-Lord-
One-Handed Arms - Increases your attack power with 1-h sword skills by a small percentage, every 4 lvls it lvls up and adds an additional 4%
(eg. when its maxed at lvl20, you should be lvl80 and it will add +80%)

Power Shield - Adds MORE Physical Defense, your heavy armor and shield already provide enough already!

Blockade - Get this if your sane. Adds an additional Percentage of Blocking.

Critical Void - Now a Stealthed DD rogue cant 1-hit you with a Prick crit. This reduces the chance of receiving a crit from any attack.

-Sword-
Slash - Your first attack. Deals 154% Base damage quickly and its cooldown is very quick. Can be used on an enemy lying down for +50% more damage.

Shield Trash - Hit your enemy with a Shield. Weaker than slash but can either give Dull Status or Knock them backward. (KB)

Double Stab - You should be able to understand the name. Stabs twice. Can be used on something lying down for 50% more damage each stab.

Berserker - Use 10% of your HP to "Awaken your full potential", deals the most damage out of all your moves and can be used on an enemy lying down for (again) 50% more damage.

Shield Crush - same as Trash

Cunning Stab - same as Double, hits more though.

Daring Berserker - Hits 4 times for 100% damage each (your most powerful skill) 10% HP.

Two-handed Lord and Two-handed Sword
Image
Your skill set for 2-handed swords.

-Lord-
Two-handed Arms - Like One-handed Arms, except for Two-hand skills.

Concentration - Have your Swords' babies once you hit 20 because this passive blows you away. PASSIVE increase of your CRIT Ratio!

Damage Return - 20% of the time when you are damaged by anything except magic attacks up to 10m away from you, you return a Percentage of that damage. This is for fighting back against those darn Crossbow Rogues.

-Sword-
Bash - Your first attack. You will likely use this for the rest of your life. 267% damage, and can KB.

Turn Rising - This will be one of your main skills forever. Fair damage and can KD (KnockDOWN)

Warcry - This 15 min. buff is one of the reasons why a 2-h is so 1337 in PvP. Increases attack power.

Charge Swing - Nearly as Strong as Bash. 2-hit combo.

Maddening - After 20 levels of waiting for a new skill, here it is. The highest raw damage skill in the entire Warrior Mastery skill set. 487% Raw damage at the cost of 10% of your HP.

Triple Swing - Succesor to Charge Swing. 3-hit combo

Dare Devil - Hits Twice for 300%+ of your damage for 10% of your HP. Sexytime? :P

Dual Lord and Dual Arms
Image
The Dual-axe warriors skill set

-Lord-
Dual Arms - Do I have to explain this??

Dual Defense - Increases your defence. Like power shield.

Accuracy - Passive hit-rating increase. Hit rating is the opposite of Parry Ratio :!:

Protection - With this, you dont need those "Expensive Pills" anymore, this makes you a buttpain to Warlocks.

-Dual Axe-
Down Cross - Basic attack. 1-hit for 192% Raw.

Double Twist - Some people say its overpowered, some say Underpowered. 2 Weak-ish hits that both have a chance to inflict Stun or Bleed.

Axis Quiver - 50% Stun chance, and is also AoE, if it doesnt work then it just causes some Aggro. Not TOO bad.

Dual Counter - This + your other 2 skills = sexytime combos. 'Nuff said.

Crisis Rush - Your strongest move, and nearly as strong as Maddening, only outdamaged by a small %.

Sudden Twist - Double Twists succesor.

Deadly Counter - Dual Counter's succesor.

Crucial(?) Rush - Surpringly you would of expected something as strong as Dare Devil, on the contrary this is WEAKER than Crisis Rush! Whats going on?!

Thats it for the SKILLS. Now its time to learn how to USE Them Effectively in Job/PvP situations.

Against European Classes

Warrior : Depending on which kind, it should be a long fight that will come down to who will crit more or who will hit harder at once.

Rogue : Have descry on if you think theres a nearby stealther. If they have Daggers and theyre over 40, be careful. because they will likely have DD on ( Dagger Desperate ) and they will likely use Prick on you for massive damage. If you can detect them, use sprint assault and have Iron Skin to mitigate a lot of their dmg.

Wizard : If you dont have Mana Skin get ready to die. Unless you can sprint assault and then finish them in time. If you cant kill the Wizard quickly, theyll 1-shot you. In short, a fight with a wizard is mainly by the mag.def increase by Mana skin, and who attacks the other first.

Warlock : Royal Pain in the butt. They can sleep you, curse you, and DEBUFFS. DEBUFFS. DEBUFFS. And they got SHIELDS! They will obviously last longer than Wizards, but get to them ASAP before their curses can take full effect.

Bard : Their Battle Chord series is pretty strong, nearly on par with a wizard. Their moving march can make them have an easy time staying back from you. Kill them fast and use mana skin if you have it.

Cleric : Pray that they dont have (Pure)Offering, or you are as good as dead. They can heal themselves so that makes it much harder. Mana Skin is your savior here.

Against Chinese Classes

Sword Nuker : Their Defense makes up for their lack of HP, make sure they dont KD you and keep BOTH Iron and Mana skin ON for Near-guaranteed survival.

(Pure)STR Blader : If there could be a kind of measuring tape for annoyingness, bladers would be near if not at the top of it. Their massive defense, auto HP pot and shields make them nearly impossible to kill unless you crit them several times in a row.

Spear Nuker : You want Mana skin. Now. Since most wear Garms, they're easily doomed once you sprint assault them.

(Pure)STR Glavie : They exchange the survivability of Bladers for much more offensive power, make sure they dont stun you and have Iron Skin.

Bow : Their new Strong-Bow makes them hard to kill. Keep them somehow incapacitated and you shouldnt have a hard time.

~Fin~
This here is the End of my guide, Folks. If you like it feel free to give a complementary comment. If you feel there are any correctable Errors, please say so.

Few mistakes ... let me help you a bit. :D
Quote:
Two-Handed Warrior - Best at holding aggro, but this can be a hindrance because of above

Why?

Quote:
Descry - Sucks that it doesnt work on YOU. This makes you an open target to rogues but your party members can *hopefully* save you because

Yeah it works for you ....

Quote:
Pain Quota - Nice move. a PT member takes 35% less damage (I think) and that damage is split equally among the entire party. Your cleric should be able to heal through that.

It goes more than 35%...

Quote:
Fences (Phy and Mag.) If you dont get these ima hunt you down. j/k they are a MUST HAVE though. The targeted party member receives the fence, it lasts 15 min. and they take over 30% less damage of that kind of damage

Once again ... they go more than 30%

Quote:
Protect - Not sure about this one. Get it if you want.

It reduces the aggro of an ally and towards it to you (I think)

Quote:
Phy. and Morale Barrier - Like fences except they last 90 sec and add DEF. to that sort of dmg. BUT it doesnt work on you like fences.

It last 60 seconds

Quote:
Concentration - I want this passive to have my children. Passive +crit rating with your sword. at lvl4 an avg 2 crit sword becomes 4. My lvl26 giant sword is 9 crit, making it 11 crit. ohhh yeahhh.

So basicly for every 10 levels [starting at 30 (+3)] it adds 1 more critical.

Quote:
Damage Return - At a 10m Radius, you have a small chance of returning any damage you take. No AoE. Good against XBows and Possibly Wizards.

It cant give back magical dmg. It gives xx% (up to 100% at 80 cap , 130% in 100 cap) dmg back to the one that hitted you with physical dmg.
20% chance to do that .

Nice Guide anyway ... you could make it somekind of nicer ... I mean
add some colours and let it looks good :) bold something :P

Really nice guide anyway ... It will help alot of newbies

To all the warriors, please wake up :!: I need to know something :) btw HI :)

Heavy Armor, Light Armor or Robe ?

Well so i'm a Two Handed Swordman level 56 with Cleric as my sub , i'm wearing Heavy Armor (good defense phy mobs, sexy 8)) because I encounter alot of physical mobs but if I encounter mag mobs like Sonar (pt mob) I die very fast without backup and I want to tank mag monsters like im tanking down physical monsters .

Now what I need to know is should I go Light Armor because im weak to magic mobs like Sonars and I want to Kill Sonars because im farming and they drop wind 4 ele and I would have an balanced defense against both phy, mag mobs (well actually a bit more to phy, since im full str :p) and I can profit from the Cleric Passive Buffs like Charity When Blessed STR/INT/Phy Def. increase & Weaking SeriesReduceEffect Weakening SeriesProbabillity Reduce and not to forget Glory & Favor Armor wich has passive increased phy and mag defense, you can't go wrong with these passives. Sounds nice he, for most ppl their descision is already made up :P

Or

I can go Robe since i'm full strength and can have fully mag defense against magic (Sonars, little wizzards) moving speed increase, but will I have a big lack in phy def? Cause this goes the same like Chinese Glaviers wearing Garment, and I will get the Faith passive wich gives me +12% hp recovery increase and the CurseSeries Effect and Probabillity Reduce but I cannot profit from the Glory Series (Passive Buffs)

So now.. :D should I wear Heavy Armor since I don't need the Cleric Passives and its just too cool looking, or I switch to Light Armor what gives me an balanced defense and nice have2get passives or I robe for fully defense, moving speed.. or I just wait for robe till im a high lvl and I encounter fully magical mobs like the mages.. PLX HELP ME, I WLIL GIV 10K!

And sorry if this has been unclear, or that its already been posted (what is search button?) or whatsoever you guys come up :P

bye and hf

@risi
Well... you can use Heavy Armor when fightning physical mobs and when
fightning magical mobs only , use robe...

You shouldnt use light armor ... it doesnt dominate on any side , nor physical nor magical ... You wont get any benefits if you wear light armor from Glory and Favor Armor if you dont use Cleric rod (same goes for Charity)...

I think you should have both Heavy Armor and Robe ...
But till you hit 80 , just use Heavy Armor ... I suggest that :)
Thats what I am doing :)
Cheerz :D :D

I have a lvl38 warrior, with 97%STR, initially I added some points into INT. How does this affect my hits?

I have no idea why you do that.. since euros are pure str build and they cant do nothing with INT, maybe some defense, you will hit softer, not so heavy hits anymore :-(
