Made the same thread on epvp, hoping for such a server.Main server concept:Everyone is equally geared, so that the only thing that makes difference is
your skills, blues and whites are already maxed(except crit and br which would be 76% or something) and stones drops are removed, elixirs can + your items but they only change the look, not the stats.
More details:- Players start at level 100 with degree 1 looking gears, with 11D full blues and stats.
- 10 Degree equipments are sold for gold(same stats)
- 11 Degree (or Egy) equipments are sold for coins+gold(same stats)
- 12 Degree equipments can be gained from uniques.
- 13 Degree equipments can be gained from a world unique(needs a few parties to take out, spawns once or twice a day)
- Alchemy+ing only gives a different glow, no higher stats gained from alchemy.
Activities available for the players:- Jobbing(main activity)
- Cape PvP
- Battle arena(main source for coins)
- Unique hunting
- Fortress War(weekly)
- Job temple(thieves vs. hunters/traders)
What would make the old players interested, and keep the new players in the game?For the old players: job ranking system, normal title quests would be removed, and the all time top 5-10 of each job would get unique titles(wanted for thieves, guardian for hunters, tycoon for traders)
For the new players: the main reason for the new players to leave the game is that they feel underpowered, and they have a long way to farm and level, maybe bot too, to get geared an start doing game activites, longer way to compete with everyone on the server, but in this server, they'd jump right in, looking noob with Degree 1 gears but still have the same power as everyone.
What would the players who want to be the "best" can do to distinguish themselves?- Gain the most rare equipments/weapon.
- Get the max glow on their weapons.
- Gain the job title(which is limited for 15 player on the server only, 5 of each job).
- Get skilled enough to be unbeatable in PvPs which are purely based on the player's skills.
Anti-cheating:A couple of active GMs to ensure that there's always an online GM, a report section on the server's forums to report the cheaters with enough evidence.
Three offense strict system (warning, 3-day ban, permanent ban) for:
- Battle Arena AFKers.
- Job cheaters.
- Invisible hackers.
- Pill bug abusers.
