I was talking to a chinese guy and he said they are going to ban all ips apart from chinese, is this true?

No it is not true. They are banning foreigners who bot (and they're serious about it). The rest of us can happily play as long as we don't break their rules.

Yep, they are banning all foregin IPs, doesn't matter do you bot or dont.
From tsro site news :
為了維護遊戲品質，9/10(四)伺服器維修過後，我們將只開放台灣絲路服務地區IP使用者進行遊戲 ,
If you use translator, you can see this :
In order to safeguard the quality of the game, 9 / 10 (4) After the server maintenance, we will only open the Silk Road service areas in Taiwan IP users games,

Well, that doesn't go with this announcement: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=115415And just 10 minutes ago a GM put a notice just reminding foreigners not to use bots, and cited the same rule number posted in there, which say no ban for foreigners...

that was before they decided to ban foreign ips i told people it was gonna happen because i read the GM's blog everyday knew it was gonna blow up

Lol they said they were going to ban all foreign IP's like 2 days after everyone started going there (months ago..) and they're just now going to do it? Lol sucks for the peeps that stayed.

What do you guys expect? It's Tsro, the T is for TAIWANESE. So it's for Taiwanese people, not taiwanese people and some other internation people.
Isro or ecsro is where you should go, the other sro versions are specific for countries.
