eSRO C++ Recruit thread:

This message is going out to as many forums as I can possibly post to get the right amount of interest.

The eSRO Team is looking for experienced C++ Coders only, so please do not bother asking to help if you can only code C# or Visual Basic otherwise it will be of little use, we need people who have had experience in coding either basic to advanced level Emulator related applications before or have the knowledge of it. So if you can code or you know anyone you can foward to us that has experience with SILKROAD ONLINE other games will not really help.

We only have 2 main coders at the moment who can be very busy at times, one is working on most things related to the emulator and the other is researching into the Silkroad Map System so in future we could make applications to easily check for object collisions and to change or create new aspects to the map.

We have a large amount of the iSRO Packets and a good amount of them parsed and documented well, so it just needs to be coded, already there a good amount of features working in the emulator such as the skills, exchange, stall and NPC interaction for buying and selling things. Its probably one of the most advanced emulators for Silkroad Online so far in the amount of features it has to offer.

eSRO hopes to create the first fully functional Emulator Private Server on Silkroad Online ever but we would rather do that sooner than later, with more coders the work is spread.

Please do not either to pretend you have the knowledge of C++ just so you can get in, since we get many people doing this, we will test you as we are not allowing this source to get into the wrong hands as people will leak it.

As the main packet collector I spend most of my time sniffing packets and parsing them, so I can offer full help and support with any person unsure on what to do or is missing packets, I am sure I will have it on offer in my collection ;)

Our Website is largely done and we have a domain and forum at the moment which will be fully intergrated with the new site when it is fully ready, the site will have a lot to offer much more than any official Server and a detailed player armoury.

thats what I parsed of the Party match system, that is the packet thats sent displaying all the parties. Party system might be quite complex.. I am not sure but I have it all parsed.


or even the messaging system thats relativly easy...
