I have a question for you guys. . .the legits of sro:

Since most or all of you guys are going to myth, will you all be in the same union?

I mean really with the whole "botting is allowed" thing and 5,000+ turks liking their facebook page and hyped for it it seems that it would be pretty damn fun uniting all of us and wiping the floor with them right?

I mean an srf alliance with 8/8 guilds of 50 members each, meaning 300 in total all partying, jobbing and doing fw together would be pretty damn great right?

I mean is there a reason why we just haven't all made one large ass union yet? Especially since it's pretty much only us that have been hoping from pserver to pserver that even visit these forums anymore. . .

wouldn't uniting make sense?

Or does it just make TOO MUCH sense for it to work?

That's because legits are very rare now, SRF is the last of the legits and look how small our community is.
This isn't 2006 anymore, this is 2013 where SRO is just a dead bot infested game.
A legit union of 100 or less people can't hold a candle to a 300/300 bot union, even if they are all turks. :giveup:

Venture will be my last stop for SRO, not because of its features but because it's a legit server. The last time I even bothered with SRO was ESRO and that was because there wasn't a working bot for a while.

guild wars 2 is GREAT. . .for PVE

the pvp there is garbage though. It's a great deal for pve at 60 bucks though. I'd just treat it as a console game you play with friends online.

If you want PvP, try some of the Moba games.

If you want MMO-style pvp, fortress wars etc, I guess you can try Terra or Rift, but I haven't played those two games, just heard that those were good for that.

I don't really know many mmo games that have really good mmo-type pvp though.. . .even silkroad's pvp system is pretty crappy though, the best part of it is the triangular conflict. (imo FW with silkroards character skill design in pvp is pretty bad. . .if the gameplay on the characters were as fluid as guild wars' or league of legends' SRO's FW would be pretty amazing)

I personally think the only mmo (besides dark age of camelot which is outdated by like 15 years) that has exceptionally good pvp, was guild wars 1 Prophesies edition. . .not the expansions. . .they ruined guild wars with the expansions. Seriously, if Arenanet had just left guild wars at prophesies, and made money through selling skins, or selling expanded pve areas(without adding new pvp stuff or classes) I'd be still playing that game now.
