Wow epic fail of a reply, do you have any idea of the math behind coding this up? lmao, i dont think worrying about .8 of a % is something to worry about! You would surely know that 79.8% = 80% rounded off.....lol!! But hey, it could be 79.814%

Agreed. Keep expectations low so won't be dissapointed. I haven't seen anything to make me excited about this project. Just random writings on updates about blah blah 70% done means nothing to me.

I like the idea of FINISH PROJECT, then advertise.

So we are sent multiple hundreads of emails between us a day, forums spammed at esro for progress updates and when we do......this is the reply? lol, ahh well, i say good work rafa imo! 1 guy working on the client for the whole community of sro players who hate the current shit in isro and even ecsro! "2 new coders also now :P"

situation on 20may:

Normal attack (70%) still need to add real damage and other checks
Hotkeys (70%) you can insert them, remove them and its saved in the db and when you login your skillbar is updated to the one u saved.
Stall (100%) You can all stuff with stall but buy its still buggy.
Guild (25%) You can create a guild, disband change notice.
Multiplayer (15%) you can login with different chars and do what ever you want and the other players will see what you do.
Exchange (100%) you can start exchange, reject it, put gold in exchange window and close it.
Alchemy (10%) i coded it but i havent test it.
Party (5%) For now you can send party invitation and accept it or reject it.

Well i been busy with other stuff for now im not working 24/7 on the server....and yeah i can estimate how much % of the game i have done, since i know how much stuff i need to do for each task, some changes made arent reflected in game functions, they just bugfixes, rewrites or better design. I updated the faq because they kinda asked me too xD, theres more stuff behind the curtains.

Its still a huge game and lots of data hasent been reversed sometimes i dont code i just need to reverse data or we need to sniff packets. The game wont be released on october its gonna be wayyyyyyyyyyy before that.

I'm sure majority of former "legit" iSRO players are happy about this. It's the reason why "legit" players quit iSRO. 1) Botting on current. 2) Refuse to play on Venus with the two biggest hypocrite botters Nightbloom and Fly on Venus.

So if eSRO is completed, be incredible, so we don't have to play on a server harassed by botting hypocrites or masses gold bots and sun farming bots.

But at the same time, over past almost 3 years there have been so many rumors of a Private Server, then to find out the only successful ones are with stolen server files from some jSRO server.

So you have to understand when we say, complete the project then advertise. The completed server is proof enough and all the updated information we need.

But yes it's great and I'm sure eSRO staff will get plenty of congratulations and thanks if they complete the project successful and will receive plenty of help both financially and time from the players to keep their servers running.

But again, finish the project, then advertise when it's ready for either Open Beta or Official Opening.

Oh btw, please eSRO if completed, don't let the two hypocrite botters from Venus bully your server or try to take control! Being bullied by a botter or self proclaimed "legit" is not different, a crappy gaming environment both ways.

Bot detection will end all closet botters lol :P Venus is just a server to me.....there are legits all over isro outside of Venus, avalon are no more on venus so the name "Venus" to me means nothing now as that movement is over, atleast from what it was once!

But the next new server that's released, all it'd take is some serious players who are ofcourse legit and you can take over and rule over botters. Constant 8man pt's you will out level botters in 4/4 dist pt's.

Anyways, back on topic! 10% progress in just over a month on a client which is being built from the ground up isnt to bad is it?

If you would think like 2 seconds about my post, you could see that my point is that posts with random percentages DONT SAY SHIT about the project. It does not proof there are working on anything, it doesnt not proof it will ever get ready. I could make up some percentages about my fantasy world SRO project and everyone would get happy that I am making such an awesome private server.

I have seen too many private server projects that promised a whole new legit SRO experience that rocks, and in the end they ALL fail. And so does your reply :)
Its just that all these past failures have made me very sceptic about any new pvrivate servers, so my apologies that I am 'attacking' eSRO, but of course the only way to proof me wrong is to actually make it work some day :wink:

well the thing is no one is forcing you to wait for esro and one of the resons why i think this server is real is because they haven't asked for money (from what i know). that is the main goal for a fake pserver right? i dont see any other reason why to make a fake pserver then to scam people.

Yes but that is a 100% (YES A PERCENTAGE) theoretical example so it still doesnt say anything about that pserver ever working or not, which ws my point. My point was never that I dont understand percentage calculations, but I DO think that you cannot see past that, so maybe you should google how to do that :)

NOWHERE in this topic is any real proof that this server actually exists, or any progress is made. Some textbased posts about whats done or not, after many months, do not really help.
You guys say you have a closed beta running? Well why not make some fraps or it working? And show me the 'percentages' that you are talking about? Like some skills/effects that do/dont work. Or even better, how about you show the party system just like the example you gave in your post :P
Get some proof of your progress like that, and I will stop doubting eSRO ...

how do we know your not a robot? prove that....exactly your point is well pointless you can MAKE proof they could go to isro and record them attacking a mangyang change the starter. thing is proof is meaningless until this server is finished so stop with the give me proof bs
