If the sp rates are high enough that I don't have to farm I can live with low rates. Also, they are modifying the quests so that will make things easier too.

The exp rate isn't that important to me. It never was hard to level in silkroad but it was hell to sp farm unless you got plvl'd and being powerlvl'd is retarded.

rates are undecided, we are never going over 5x however! you really wont need more than that with the pt mobs we offer which ecsro doesnt. but even if its 1x, sp rates wont be 1x! We want it so you can 0gap and have a large chunk of FF for cap!

Agreed on the exp rate. With party mobs you level much faster.

For the people who are saying 1x exp rates would still be fast with party mobs.. did ya'll ever think of chinese chars? =_=''
If esro provides better rewards for quests + more quests, I wouldn't mind lvling a chinese with 1x exp rates, but if the quests aren't modified, at least make it so chinese chars can keep up with euros >.>'

without gold ticket/ premium

5x exp
10x sp
huge exp penalty in share pt with a player 11 lvls higher to prevent powerlevel

with silver ticket/ premium

8x exp
14x sp
huge exp penalty in share pt with a player 11 lvls higher to prevent powerlevel

with gold ticket / premium

10x exp
20x sp
huge exp penalty in share pt with a player 11 lvls higher to prevent powerlevel

Man, that would be great. It would definitely make Euro players party more often! Although, 9 levels higher is also easy enough to get a plvl from too.

No don't make bigger sp rates than xp rates that would be weird if everyone has all needed skills on his/her level

more sp is stupid I think I will stay on ecsro

A higher sp rate would make the complete gap system of Silkroad useless. That's not how the game should be.

i've been wondering that myself, i spose they were under the impresion everyone was playing for euro. the quests would need to be 2-3x iSRO+ with 1x rates because honestly whats the point of playing a private server without increased rates.

with 5x rates esro is all about the money, making as much as possible with people needing to purchase premiums.5x would be ok for lvling but i doubt it will be that.

On another note, why are the esro mods bagging out other pservers when they haven't posted video's or decent screenshot proof of how far ahead they are recently. Lyzerk looks like he is miles ahead of you guys.

As someone else said, less than 5x would be just stupid, what's the point in playing a private server with the same rates as iSro?

5x exp and 10x sp would be fine, but still low for a so called "private server" imo.

I think the higher the rates for xp and sp the better the overall game experience will be.
Here are my reasons:
1. Low experience rate equals bots, proven by iSRO. Even 10x is not good enough as seen on ecSRO.
2. Low sp rate equals need to farm. Farming sux, anyone who enjoys farming is not sane.
3. Low sp rate equals weak character if you do not farm. Who wants to be weak? I surely do not.
4. Low drop rate equals gold bots, proven by iSRO. 10x drop rate is great. Seems to work for ecSRO. I don't see a single gold bot on ecSRO.
5. Anyone who has been capped and fully farmed can tell you that is the most fun. I've only had one capped FF player in my 3 years on iSRO. That was without a doubt the most fun I've ever had playing the game. I'm sure most everyone who has experienced that will agree.
6. Replay ability goes up. If you can be capped and FF in a few weeks then you could have all your favorite builds ready for any situation.
7. Just image all the unique builds there could be. Someone may come up with a build that no one has ever seen before or attempted before because it would just take too much time to finish that unique build.
8. I'm sure if I spent more time thinking about it I could come up with a few more pros on the subject.

well.. im not an esro supporter any more.. it was when i removed it from my sig.. anyways.. this is not we are talking about. but when i saw esro.. i looked real for me.. and it still look like that .. but insro look fake.. this is just what i think.. i dont SAY its fake but i feel that.. xD

have their act together? LOL, there is nothing of any worth on their site videos or pictures and they have been working on it for a year SUPPOSIBLY.

tanking? well they cant pull the mobs using those skills where the warrior takes the aggro, but they are good tankers and even without a cleric they survive easily.

blader can lure with soul cut blades... xD and can tank too
bow.. u didnt even say about it... u know what it can do
glavie.. can lure maybe (dragon fly) can stun.. have a good amount of hp that would help u to tank better ^_^

well silkroad seems to be a more grind based mmorpg
if you like pvp based mmorpgs then play them like 2Moons and Tantra online. You level up really really fast try it out.

Bladers and Glaivers can't be effective tankers because they can't keep the aggroe. Bladers can lure with the dances + cuts, forgot about those. But glaive's only range attack (dragon something) loads kinda slow for it to be useful in luring, and its penetration, not aoe.

What im trying to say is, even if some chinese builds are let into parties, most others won't be, so i just think chinese chars should have a bit higher rates than euros.

bow in a party would be the same as a rogue xbow they lure much better then a warrior and hold them long enough until the mobs die.
