two doubts: 1. which is better chinese archer or european xbox rogue and y?
2. in case of chinese archer, wht is a good stat build a) pure int - archers are rangers, they fight from a distnace, don't need hp, but need ultra strong attacks b)pure str - ummmmmm.......ermmmm... dunno, how will it help??????? c)hybrid - this may be good coz everyone says tht archers shuld be pure str

For archer you do need health and very high dmg, be pure str. Archer depends on crits! For pure str archer you need 90 fire 90 pach 90 Light 30 cold IMO.
On the other hand xbow rogue does a crazy dmg but is the wussiest build. Stealth, 1 hit kill, safezone, restealth. If you like that kinda thing than go xbow. Xbow also levels faster but has less defense because of pot delay, unless you are rogue/cleric.
I would probably go Pure Str Bow because it looks cooler and it has better defense.

archers are ranged, that doesn't mean the people u'r fighting won't get up close and personal and when that happens, a pure int archer = dead
pure str archers do double damage when they crit, and wit the + crit on ur bow skills, u'll be critting a lot.

My favorite bow build is 70:70 balance. That means, that, naked, both the physical and magical balance of the build are at 70% (or, maybe, 69%). It deals great overall damage, and its crits are also decent, nevertheless weaker than full STR crits. The pure STR bow is also a good build, but if you like great overall damage, go for the 70:70 bow. Here's a video: http://www.wegame.com/watch/lv_89_70_70_Hybrid_Bow_PvP/

k
i saw the videos, cool, but couldn't mak out the difference in damage of pure str(undutchable) and hybrid(bossman)
nywayz, i m clear, tht str is reqd. for crits., wht do u mean when u say overall gr8 damage, doesn't the frequency and intensity, of a pure str's crits more than make up for overall greater damage of hybrid? also in case of hybrid, one would, need to use sp for all possible buffs in all three skill trees, but in cas e of pure str, only fire can be maxed, rest up to requirement
one more doubt, i hav been through many posts, i can't understand y force skills r good for an archer, except harmony cirlce, which acts lik noise of bard?

Harmony circle doesn't follow you around. Noise does.
A pure STR needs crits to kill. A hybrid does not. And, being INT hybrid (70:70), the damage is, naturally, greater than pure STR. Non-crit, full STR deals low damage, and moreover, a hybrid build can benefit from high-end snow shields, as opposed to a pure STR, which is limited to low snow shield.

Thumbs up for 70:70
Better overall damage and you are less gear(bow) dependent.

The damage would be intermediate of a pure str and pure int(non-crit), rit?
also howz this for a 70:70 build 90 pach 90 fire 30 cold 50 light 40 force
i was thinking of force because of the the debuffs and harmony therapy and light because of the dodge decrease which would increase chances of crit, and also because of the additional damage transfer to nearby enemies along with bow skills like pierce, and all those skills which can target multiple enemies
also i don't think crystal ice and snow shield would be reqd for a pure str. char., only a hybrid or pure int can use it. so a pure int char would not need to consider the cold tree, isn't it?

parry ratio gives u higher chance to receive the lower end of the damage that ur opponent dishes out.
say someone's damage is 100-200, and u have a high parry ratio, they will do damage closer to the 100 end.
a decrease in parry ratio does the opposite

a decrease in parry ratio does the opposite ooohk then i guess light imbue with electrical shock can be as effective as fire

a decrease in parry ratio does the opposite ooohk then i guess light imbue with electrical shock can be as effective as fire that is if your opponent dosnt use pills. which is highly unlikely.
