While having no wep means no effects, has anyone considered the walls + dash? I've found this can be very annoying. A pure str can't take a maxed ice wall down very fast at all. In pvp, combining the wall with dashes far away to reset up another wall and nuke can be very effective. This will make this a very good build i predict in the future seeing as pot sizes stay the same. This means pure str can't heal as fast. Combine this with nukes that come at a good pace and the pure str is focused on taking down the wall... it would be a very tough fight. The only prob i see is that sometimes the dash takes too long to activate due to lag. But in the right hands, this build would be deadly.
Imagine the fight. They nuke you for high dmg, and run away. Yes ur healing, but they can quickly set up a wall and nuke you again. Dash away, wall, than nuke.
From what I can tell, this will be a very strong support and possibly strong pvp build if done 1 vs 1. Anyone have input on this? I haven't seen many around using this, and certainly not many with both walls maxed. I predict once someone has throughly tested this and ppl see how it pwns, it will be a very common build.

this game is party play now. force died when clerics were introduced. if you really want to make a character for cape pvp then by all means do it. I had 80 force and it was useless in jobbing, fortress war, guild war, everything except for cape fights. And even then if cape fights mattered someone would bring a cleric.
if you're talking about pure force like 90 fire 90 light 90 ice, its kinda early to tell since most people don't have pimped gears, but without a weapon tree you're missing 2.5k hp or a large % of blocking ratio and you're also missing a ton of mag/phys defense that lasts for 15 seconds (long enough to save u). Not only that but you can't double stun, you can't go for a double knock down, you can't cause dull or bleed or good stuff like that. You're giving all that up when 90 light already gives you crazy strong nukes? The difference between a flame wave wide+fire imbue over a cranes thunrderbolt+light imbue shouldnt even be more than 1k dmg.
right now the sexy ints are the ones with max wep, max light, max ice and in garms. thats such a well rounded build, i dont know why you would go otherwise.

I agree with you in part Fudge, but I think you're forgetting the 1st line in your own post: this game is moving towards party play. With my KD nuker, I have no problem standing toe to toe with 1 opponent, but I certainly would not like to be in the middle of a fight with 2 or 3 nukers blasting in spells from the side. My HP simply can't cope with that. Within a group fight, it seems logical that nukers try to stay out of the thick of the fight, and blast mass damage spells as much as possible. Basically weaker wizards with more survival power. As such, I would think that a fire/lightning/cold build would actually work quite well. As for clerics and their holy word/spell: it makes the chains just as useless as force, but that's no reason not to take it. I think a force nuker is a very cheap SP build that combines Chinese nuking with some clerical and warlock skills. Not at all bad to have with you in party play. I've certainly enjoyed playing Pinokkio so far.

in that scenario I fail to see the difference between 3 flame wave wides vs 3 cranes thunderbolts when three nukes is gonna kill anyone regardless of what build they are.
either way we really need to see how much damage flame wave wide + soul fire force maxed vs thunderdragon+cranes thunderbolt is.
if its only around 1k dmg difference, then fire is useless for ints. That weapon tree will do much more for you.

For the 90 cap, I might agree with you, since it leaves a lightning nuker with a level 86 and a level 90 nuke, but at the 100 cap that level 86 nuke is starting to look quite weak, and the cold nukes are no replacement either. Looking at my own builds though, it is clear where my fire nukes are. The question is not so much about the difference between the fire nuke+imbue vs the lightning nuke+imbue, but wether you have 2 useful nukes that can be chained. Incidentally, that 1K difference is about the difference in nuking power between a full INT and a 90% hybrid INT.

yea cranes and the new flame wave wide back to back is gonna deal serious damage, but thats in like 2 years lol.
right now the fire nukes are more outdated, the 72ish fire nuke was garbage. Fast, but garbage. and from what ive heard, the oldskool flame wave wide is still stronger than hellfire.
