Prepare for dissapointment when you realize all these people were wrong and that the skill doesn't increase your damage enough...
You don't know what you're talking about. I've seen it in action, it isn't a % increase like some people think, but it's like... I dunno, but it's awesome. It's sort of like reinforce I'd say... Like if it says 50 increase, then it takes 50% of the shields physical defence, and adds it to your attack.
That's why at later levels, when it's like 127 increase, it's 127% of the shields physical defence (which is alot) and then added onto your damage. I think it also takes the shields physical reinforce too... I dunno lol, you should ask konpaku how it works, he probably knows.

To be honest...
I don't believe you have really seen it in action. And seeing as 9D shields Physical Reinforce is only 25 when made 100%... Your just showing us that it is a really weak skill... No matter what it does I guarantee you it will make less than a 5% difference in Physical Damage only...

Also, in most Korean SRO PVP clips i've seen, there're not many blades. STR builds are mostly Glaviers and Bowers.
Well, everyone knows we should not base entirety on KSRO, but as far as i know, the further the gap, the harder it becomes to kill. Most STR/STR fights are just pot war. Meaning in the future, bladers do what they're best for: tanking. Sure they can kill, but it just get harder. Still that blade is sexy, and you're almost invincible in 1v1 tho

Hey guys, i was also thinking about how much dmg it would increase. I think the hard part abut figuring it out is whether it is added directly to your phy dmg that u can see pressing C or not. It could be also multiplied with the weapon modifier 90% at 90 Masterielvl, which would make it a lot stronger. As far as i can remember it increases about 119 phy dmg at Lvl 90. A lvl 90 blader hast 1100-1343 phy dmg a lvl 94 1241-1513. So the max phy dmg increases about 45 a lvl. Now when it is addad directly, it would only be as if u had 1.5 + es more on your weapon at the most. Don't forget concidering phy reinfroce at your calculations.
So i think what would really help to know is how the phy attack changes when i Rogue or a Wiz use their dmg increase Buff, since the phy and mag attack is increased, too there.
Would be nice if anyone could test it how mcuh the phy dmg really (mag dmg) increases using these buff. Only by the amount of the buff or multiplied by the masterie dmg inc.

Using konpaku and nivlam, the shield tech skill (at 90) would increase physical attack power by 119, and thats like adding a +3 enchantment on top of your blade. It certainly would make a difference, but not necessarily game changing.

Fixed your grammar and spelled my name right...
Sorry just because someone has a bigger post count then me doesn't mean I'm going to believe him. I see what he means now after rereading his post but the skill is being over exaggerated. It is no where near as strong as people would like to believe and Nuclear is right in Blader grinding speed still sucking...
Forget it guys, i pvped a Archer sometimes and I show u how it looks like :
The archer sometimes got a 10th Weapon and i dont and he just used 2 skills:
5 Combo , 6 Combo, 5 Combo , 6 Combo , 5 Combo , 6 Combo etc ... and after many attacks he used a Strong Bow to finish me -.-
Uhm I cant make movies anymore cuz the Testserver goes down today, but I still got a Glavier Lvling Movie and a Warrior Lvling Movie , but they are a bit boring :p just showing some Monsters the Cave and things like that.
But if someone wants to see the Movie just tell me
Reason for the Lighthing Chain :
The new Chain gives Fear Status that means that he isnt able to attack me cuz he is FEARED :O, that was a goodie to me so I just used the chain to wait until his Snow Shield goes down, after that I used the new buff and pwned him with Knock Downs and 1 Finishing Combo because the Combo isnt weak at all with the Phy Attack Power Buff

Bladers are hard to level, and the few you see in Ksro aren't level 100 yet, but they can still hold their own against their contemporaries. Bladers will be the pwn
credits go to Silo for finding it:

+1 Otherwise the game wouldnt be balanced anymore and bladers would prolly own everyone.

According to the guy that made the vid I posted the skill is amazing against int builds.

Bladers were always a trouble for int chars, even now imo

You are right, in those videos there aren't many bladers. The reason is that it is way too slow to lvl one up at those lvls. Considering it already takes them ages to lvl, they dont want to get a slow lvling build. As to why most of them at this point choose to go pure int s/s. They get the skills as well as the quick lvling.
Yes they will pwn however I doubt you will want to spend so much time grinding to lvl up. At that point it will be x2 as long to lvl as glaivers. Glaivers will 1.5x as long to lvl as bowers And it goes on. No one wants to deal with that anymore. Even at 80 cap I hear lvl 80 bladers saying how long it took them to get from 79-80.
A trick to avoiding this that one person used is to lvl up as bower, then use silk to delevel the bow skill and lvl the blader skill to max. This requires having more sp and some to spare.
