fire...there really isn't any doubt in my mind. If you doubt it, find a higher level player that won't attack you back right away, run away, then use fire nuke first, then lightning after and watch yourself move closer before the 2nd nuke.

Without a doubt, fire has a longer range.
Simple test.
Needed: 2 nukers, 1 target
One use a fire nuke and one use a lightning nuke on the target at the same time. See who is standing further away. It will be fire.

No light is a LOT shorter! Always getting hit by party giants when using it, though with fire nuke 2&3 i dont get their AoE, also i can see my char running before casting lgith nuke

light nuke has less range than fire.. just try it at some mob that doesnt move from the spot that it spawns, like ishades or the flowers standing at hotan's gates..

lol ... no way ... fire nukes have longer range. it's easy to see ... fire nuke a giant first and then followed by light nuke. if the giant doesnt run towards you (eg. you KSing someone) you character will have to run closer to the giant to follow up with the light nuke.

i have a lvl 69 and 80 nuker, moved my main mastery from fire to light on my 80, i tell you that with all the time i;ve spent nuking mobs, fire has the longer range whether it's during lag or not.
i'll try to make a vid out of it.
Deacon is a glaiver, maybe he does not have first hand experience with it, people can make mistakes. ^^
