I finally reached lvl 24 with a 9 gap, and I began to sp farm. In the beginning I was using my 60% ticket, so I was easily getting 1 sp per regular mob kill, 2-3 from champions, and etc... After my ticket finished I was getting only half sp per kill. Already Im so bored of sp farming. Im the kind of guy that likes to pvp alot, and go jobbing and stuff. But I cant really do either of those, because my moves are only at lvl 15. So I get pwned in pvping, and jobbing. Anyone got any advice? Btw ive only got 1800 sp so far, and im already bored lol. So should I continue farming, or should I just stop there, and farm at a higher lvl. well?

The earlier you farm the less regret you will have later. I say to farm more sp and finish it later.

What masteries will you take?

4 masteries... That is going to be expensive. I suggest you prioritize some masteries over others and then farm for those two you chose.

Since you're going to be a 70:70 bowman, take Lightning and Cold over fire, or else you'll have trouble on PvP. You'll also need most of Pacheon's skills to do a good damage. I have that build, if you want I can post a screenshot of my current stats.

Can't give much more hints about farming, my character is deeply unfarmed and I'll start only after I reach level 64.

I feel what you man.
:)
The first time i had to farm sp... aww... that time i made a decision.
Farming = sosun set.
The only true method against ksing bots.
I suggest you first to do some serius business to achieve cash(stalling, rselling stuff, pimping som/sun weapons and such... gl)

Gl man.

um hakubini, if u can post some screenshots that would be great. Also um, dont u think fire would be best for a 70:70 build though? Because the fire imbue is the strongest, and it makes me hit higher. I chose ice for the defense, fire for the imbue, and lightning for the buffs, speedwalk. So should I go with only pacheon ice and lightning? But then that would mean im missing out on the buffs fire has to offer.

when your farming with gt and/or sp ticket, your goal is at least 3k sp a day. it doesnt matter what level you farm at, but it does matter when you using types of weapon and your gear to farm. with good sox and decent full blues eq, you can farm fast, efficient and yet use less pots. this is where you gain your most gold out of it.

so farm when you can have the best weapon. i.e. i farm at lvl16 20k with sosun spear because of botters in den i'd move myself to lvl24 9gap at horses with som weapons and set full blues and it was a breeze to farm even without gt or sp (oh there's no sp ticket back then lol)

Sure, I'll post screenies once my dreadful server allows me to log in.

Why pick lightning instead of Fire: You say you will lose the buffs fire has to offer? First, you've got to see that if your balance is 70:70, your magical damage will be superior to your physical damage.

Buffs given by Fire: Extra mag def, Extra phy damage, Fire Wall, Fire Shield, Destealth buff. Of those, the only one that might be really importanto to you is the Fire Shield. Of course, if you take fire as a fourth mastery it is a small bonus, and your still will crit a bit harder, since at this build crit matters a lot as well. The destealth buff can be replaced by potions sold at the NPC and is used only against some europeans. The Fire imbue is the strongest, but the Lightning buff is not far behind.

Buffs given by Lightning: Extra mag damage, extra speed, extra parry ratio. The problem on picking lightning is that Lion Shout and the Lightning nukes won't be of any use for you, since you will have better Pacheon skills to do AoE damage. But the buffs are considerably more useful than Fire's, the only thing you will miss will be the Fire Shield. Phantom Walk can help archers a lot, if they aren't lagging. The lightning damage buff is over the fire's damage buff in many ways, and the imbue isn't much weaker than fire itself, especially if the target isn't immune to eletroshock (which they probably aren't).

Buffs given by Cold: Extra Physical Defense, Mana Shield and Ice Wall. The extra physical defense will be as important as fire's mag defense skill, especially if you want to fight a glaiver or a rogue. Mana Shield cannot be replaced by anything else on your build. Max it the most you can, because you will have more MP than HP. The imbue is useful for grinding and supporting on party mobbing, and Frost Nova can save you a lot from certain death at the hands of party mobs. A well leveled Ice Wall can make you win against any warrior and rogues, make you immortal to bladers and give you the edge against glaivers.

Pacheon: Max everything but autumn wind. Of course, autumn wind has it uses, but it is a lot more limited compared to other bow skills. The hawk brand is up to you (though my guildmate recommends to use the blue hawk). Your main attacks will be Anti Devil (hits hard when critting), Strong Bow (Hits less than Anti's crits, but can destroy anything if Strong Bow crits), Arrow Combo (at first levels it's good for freezing or giving eletroshock, then later for knock back), Mind Bow (when grinding only) and Explosive Arrow (main AoE and good damage). The range buff may be a bit low on the priorities, but max it when you can.

I used to have a guide on another forum but it got erased. It's allright though, it was outdated. I'll probably write it again later, but only after I finish farming my character.

Oh noes....
I get around 500sp/hour, and if i use gold sp ticket, thats 1k/hour
a 4-5-6hour session would give me around 4.5k/day
I have no life whatsoever.
:$

ps: if you're around lvl32, go up to lvl37 to get a full d5 farming gear and farm on weeds... err, i mean, death flowers

I have a remark for Hakuminis post:

If you are even a full str, use lion shouts, even if they do shitty dmg.
Shout is fast as lightning and gives you the extra dmg in 0.1 sec.
And thats awesome for a skill. No balletdancing, no fancy animations.
I do the following:
I farm at grean mobs, on a good spawn spot(weeds and scorps spawn all around, i must not move an inch, just kill/nuke everything in my vicinity :D ), and devil arrow - arrow combo+lion shout - berserk arrow - repeat.
I have the following buffs.
flame body series
piercingwhatever flow series
blue hawk(more attk rating)
+30% attkrating scrolls.
heaven break series... (at lvl27 you'll have lik +2.4m range... any meter +range expands you territory, you wont have to move, you grind faster -> more sp)

My build is:
Light(up to 80), Fire(up to 80), and i cant decide what should i do, coz im dual build, bow/sword, so i go up 60-60 and then decide.

I dropped ice, coz i already use pimped armor set, so no use for the phys defense passive+buff, and i think manashield is more a drawback than a usefull buff, but the shield skills, like castle shield, iron shield and such are awesome at higher lvl.
No 1hitting a full int. Not ever. Spamming mindlessly buttons are for botters and noobs or noob botters. :D

It's up to you which to prioritize. I just gave my opinion, and tried not to be biased. My masteries are Pacheon (60), Cold (50) and Lightning (32). I used to have Fire (28) but I dropped it a long while ago, because I just prefer Cold better. As long as my opponent does not have Cold Immunity, I can win against a good lot of people of the same level.

The Mana Shield is too important to be left behind on the case of a 70:70. You'll see once I get my HP/MP posted up. It MAY become a drawback on later levels, but a 50% mana shield might just be the extra defense you needed.

I can't see how lion shout is any useful for leveling, but if you're doing fine with it then it's cool. :) I sometimes ice Snow Storm - Ice Rain because the 300% damage on AoE is quite a lot, more than Devil Arrow itself.

Unless you're being power leveled, that's bs.

Here is my stats screenshot, with items equipped.

Keep in mind my equipment is mediocre, and I'm still unfarmed.

No buffs were activated (not sure they show up here).

Naked the balance is 69% 70%.
