So here's the deal. I want to make a TRUE hybrid as in a mix of most skill types within Chinese gameplay. From lurking on mmosite and here, I think I've come up with one that is relatively (maybe a little too much concentration on some skills) perfect for this. Please keep in mind I haven't played for quite a while due to the bad servers never letting me on but have started back up lately. Also keep in mind this is to lvl 100 and its maxed relative to the level (seemingly obvious, but just wanted to make sure :D )

Equip: Blade and Shield, blue and at least +3 when I find em

Stats: 3:2 str until 60 int, then 5:1 for the rest of the way

Skills: (The meat & potatoes here)

Bacheon:
Mastery: 70

Max skills:
Chain Sword
Hidden Blade
Killing Heaven
and Shield Protection

Force:
Mastery: 80

Max skills:
Everything except Cure therapy, and Self heal

Fire/Light/Ice:
Mastery: 50 each

Max skills:
All buffs (except combustion and fire shield), all passives, imbues for fire and ice, and all nukes (except lion shout and cold wave)

I have yet to start this hybrid so no worries about starting over again.

As for SP, its more expensive up front, but in the long run, the total comes out to like 283k I think which, knowing most builds in the mil range, is overall cheaper.

I think my attack would go like buff and pot(if not already done), hit with nukes and cold nova, imbue and attack.

Would I be destroyed in PVP? Would I be useful in parties as more than a healer? Would I need much more int, thinking I might, and if so how much?

Advice is very helpful as I am a self-admitted noob.

Thanks, guys :D

I can tell you now that it won't work.

I figured as much. Hence my need for help. I'm thinking I'm a little too diversified or too concentrated on spells without having the INT to back it up

Well you should stick with 3/4 trees. Your stats aren't so much of a problem, they're slightly less than 85% physical balance naked, that makes this a heavy hybrid str build. Hybrid and blader don't go too well together unless you have the experience and knowledge to back it up.

Really? I've read that Blader is ideal for str based hybrids due to the almost tankable def

yep, i thought so too, blader is the best class to try out a hybrid.

but about your Bicheon skills:
you should really take those walls/shields (castle wall / mountain shield + higher versions of them)

maybe your build works, its definitely worth a try!

*thought* how about bicheon 73 ? (lightning chain -> more debuffs)

you'll need maxed blade tree if you want to use it effectively :S
the debuffs wont work as well on higher level chars if you leave it at lv 70, same as with the KD.

you could try a str hybrid with 100blade/100bow/80fire/20ice
This will give you better attack rating and good range. the debuffs + bow crits will be high too.

I was seriously thinking about it, but I can't find a real answer on whether or not it makes you immobile which I wouldn't want to make myself a sitting duck for when the buff runs out.

I'll try that at some point but I was really hoping to have the force healing stuff on my side.

But now I'm considering going Glaive instead of Blade but keeping the hybrid. Any thoughts?

look...
There are 2 important choices u must make BEFORE any character cuz u CANT return back...

1st: Full STR/Hybrid STR-INT/FULL INT.
2nd: Nuker or Physical.

and an ADVICE, NEVER try making to Weapon masteries in the same character ON CHINESE.. Everyone will tell u BIG NOOB!!

Now to the masteries,
If u r going to make a BLADER (FULL STR!) make it:
100Bich(A MUST!!)/100FIRE(MAIN FORCE)/ and in this u can choose whatever u want EITHER:
100 FORCE (it will OWN in PVP but USELESS in PVE in high lvls)
100 COLD (OWN IN PVP/PVE)
80Light/20COLD (better in PVE than PVP)

Those are the MAIN BUILDS...!!
And u MUST MAX the main MASTERY (Bicheon) ... U cant stop it at 70 cuz if u PVP u wont be able to kill an ANT!! and in PVE u will suck like HELL!!

TRUST ME!!
;)

SRY FOR DOUBLE POST but the 1st one is Very important.

Now for the GLAIVER:
U must make it 1 of those: (PS:I am not a pro. in Glaive so fix me if i was wrong.)
100heuk/100fire/100FORCE(1 of the BEST BEST BEST BEST in PVP)
100Huek/100fire/100cold(for DEFENCE)
100huek/100fire/100lightning(SPEED and Mag ATK/DEFENCE)
100huek/100fire/80light/20COLD

There u go... :D

1. Weapon tree too low level for any practical use in high level
2. Force tree not maxed, thus debuffs are kinda useless too
3. Your Fire (Main imbue) is lv 50..wth?

First you gotta figure out what kind of player you wanna be. Chinese are never meant to be healers, so don't try to steal a cleric's job or they'll go on strikes, simply because their buffs and heals are way better. PVP...you'll definitely be destroyed honestly speaking. Defense may not be a problem, but you will not be able to kill anyone. I may see you owning people with your stats allocation, making a hybrid, but with your skills allocation i see you just wasting pots on the pvp field...sorry.

and all suggested USUAL and APPROVED allocations are listed ^.

but if you wanna be a little unique, please bear this in mind:

Weapon tree MUST BE 100!!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Bad build lol, like others have stated, stat points could go alright I guess, but skills lol .. nuking with level 50 skills ? xD

You could go hybrid, and I suggest going bich / fire / cold with the hybrid (Unless defense will be high enough to go force ? I don't really like hybrids lol. Ask Tsume, after all, hes a cat ;)) And I reckon if yu are going dual wep, i suggest glaive over bower but that's just my opinion I guess.

Don't go 100 light either, biggest waste of sp. The difference it makes for a str / str hybrid is so low. If yuou're going to get light, go 80 light / 20 cold, coz hybrid's need show shield right ?

There you have it, thats what i think.

I just lol'd. Gl getting past 70 with what, a 10,20,30 gap?

For china builds, get either 3 trees maxed, or 4 tree, 2 max, and 2 mixed. Never get one of everything. You just end up farked later. Course if you don't ever plan on lvling past lvl 70 that build could work for you nicely.
