soo i came up with 2 possible ECsro blader builds for meh
90 fire/bich
70 ice
50 light
wearing garments
wat are the pros and cons of this build?
AND
90 fire/bich
70 light
50 pach
wearing prot
wat are the pros and cons of this build?

I plan on doing lots of Hunting and Thieving at the cap
and lots of PVP
so bear that in mind ;d

Both are good builds, the one with 70cold/50light has better moving speed and also a good amount of physical defense from cold, while the one with 50pacheon loses that physical defense but gets a boost at AR. I seriously do not think the extra AR is worth it though.

And, I thought you were going for a ice bladah, at least you were. :( Why did you change your mind?

idk prot gives me tons of phy def, almost as much as ice? not sure bout that but enough
and that AR boost

Why do you say that? There's pretty much no difference in anything between a 90bicheon/90fire/70cold/50light and a 90bicheon/90cold/70fire/50light pure STR build, except that the one with 90cold would have a lot of more physical defense, and the ability to freeze/frostbite with the imbue. The tanking performace any situation of the ice bladah would be better than the fire bladah, and the ice blader wouldn't deal less damage at all. They'd hit pretty much the same. It's a pure STR build after all.

I took the freedom to compare for you a 90bicheon/90fire/70cold/50light and a 90bicheon/90cold/70fire/50light.

Main differences between these builds:
  • 90bicheon/90fire/70cold/50light
    1. Gets a total of approx. 120 physical defense from cold;
    2. Total of 104 magical defense from fire;
    3. Total of 16% extra physical damage.
    4. Burning from fire imbue.
  • 90bicheon/90cold/70fire/50light
    1. 264 extra physical defense from cold;
    2. 91 magical defense from fire;
    3. Total of 14% extra physical damage;
    4. Freezing/frostbiting from cold imbue.
As we are talking about a pure STR build, the difference in damage between both imbues would be negligible.

The KD bug with freeze would be a matter, but if you think about it, why on earth would you need to knock down someone who you can freeze? Just keep using chains on it, so it won't be able to attack you at all, you'll eventually and easily kill him without even bothering to move or think, lol. If your enemy is, on the other hand, immune, then it'll be a harder fight, and you'll be able to knock down, and benefit from the big extra physical defense from cold. :P

I say go for cold bladah menz. :love:

Up to you as you'll have some nice defense coming from shield + cold and fire buffs. I'd prefer garment anyways. And cold imbue is the sexiest, by far. ^_^

I dunno, everyone uses the fire imbue, and that blue shiny thing (cold imbue) is really sexy, even more is it's effect when it hits the target, it's so sexy. And, water x fire = water wins. :P

ecsro only has skills up to 70? no point in taking trees up to 90...
just take weapon and fire to 90 for the mastery bonus but the others can be 70 and still be fine you wont get mastery bonus for 90 light/ice if you dont use imbue/magic

It's hard to change water's temperature because of it's "heat resistance something blah", so, the water can be so cold that it'd take a lot of time for the fire to actually have a effect on the water's temperature, while the water would isolate the oxygen and the fire would die. I win.

A considerable quantity of skills get past 70, no new skills books appear after 70, but the existing ones can still be leveled. So, this makes your whole reply invalid.

i always go for KD since when the Kd attack crits or the stabs crit
it deals ton of dmg
and i cant stand that little flip the heaven chain does, it seems to give my opponent time to repot, and that moment where you wait after the chain, gives more time to repot =/

2nd option sounds nicer.
way more phy def but just 10 less mag def from the first build

Go for pure tank

90 Bicheon/fire/cold 30 light. Save up on tablets of glass or wind forge what there called. u find while grinding and those are like 75% speed, so you be all set except of course no grass walk phantom not a big deal. and the parry increase from light can easily be made up for with couple good %'s on your're gear

Losing 10 on the imbue is big, i do quite abit of dmage diff on my blader from lvl 3 fire book to lvl 13.

Dude u said fire at 70 so thats book 3 of fire imbue, and 90 is book 10. And there is a pretty big dif in fire maxxed and cold, even for a pure str char.

let me do a test i have maxed ice imbue and fire imbue

Also compare the damage between your latest imbue maxed, and your first imbue book.

There was recently an argument about this, and you are wrong. Let me just find it and I'll edit this reply.

Also compare the damage between your latest imbue maxed, and your first imbue book.
