I took a little break from the game (was busy with work and stuff) and I came back and decided I wanted to make a nuker. (I'm so tired of Euros.)

I'm planning on going 90 Light|Cold|Bich. I'm using ice imbue for the extra status.

I'm only taking a few skills in sword: Chain Sword Attack Series. Knock down/Stab. Shield Technique Series and the passive. Is that good?

For the Frost Nova series in Cold, is the one with penetration better or should I choose the one with the radius?


Last question... I'm pure int, but I can't decide if I should go with protector or garments. I like garments because less mp consumption, but would protector be better for me because I need more physical defense?

Yeah, it's good enough. By the way, level the smashing series too if possible. They will make you able to put bleed on your enemy, which will certainly help you (it decreases your enemy's defense).


The one with radius imo. Because it hits everything around you, including your target, while the one with penetration rarely hits more than one iirc. You could take both anyways.



Four reasons to go garment:
-Minus 20% MP Consumption, which helps you under snow shield;
-Plus 20% moving speed;
-Highest mag defense (you already have cold buffs + shield that help make up for the phy def);
-Biggest and most important reason: You like it.
You want any more reasons than these?

BTW, is Cold Wave worth taking?

Well, I honestly don't think it's worth it. The only good thing about it is it's range, but then it cannot freeze your enemy, only frostbite, and your enemy can easily pill it off. The really good thing about Frost Nova series in PvP is that it can freeze and completely immobilize your enemy for a very few seconds (before he pills it off). Also, frostbiting is the main "job" of the imbue, which is already very well done by the imbue alone and will annoy your enemies to death. So, no, it's not really worth it.
