I've got a rogue lvl 28 myself too, pretty easy to lvl, due to the high range and damage Crayon wrote: im thinking about making a xbow rogue to 90 only xbow cost 215k sp and with 0 gap i get 250k sp should i farm at all? im not going sub until im FF in Rogue for what i want. help please you need 286k to get to lvl 90(without scorn and monster masks) and with a 0 lvl gap you gain 223k sp. 2 lvl gap is fully sufficint without sub, but i'd take a sub in the low lvls for bless spell or moving march for grinding. And cleric is the better sub btw: longer survival, more defence, selfbuff

Well, xbow only can 0gap atleast untill lv80, thats all I know. But cleric will help you a lot when solo-ing and party-ing, so I would recommend it =)

Lv1-Lv90 0 gap gets 223k sp so i would farm in your low lvls like 3 gap so you have a little extra incase you want a little cleric or bard. i would 3 gap to 35 or 40 since those are fairly easy to get to on 3 gap. hope my advice helped. :]

Don't be lazy and just farm yourself a good farmed character. Those who don't farm or try to avoid farming just end up quiting their characters because they often find that they are very weak.

the only reason i can see daggers useful is for stealth, prick, and scud. but now everyone has the invisible skin so that ruins it. and this char is for FW, uniques, and jobbing.

You can use daggers for close combat, but its best to use X-Bow and kill them before they even reach you.
Daggers: optional

Why limit yourself to only 1 wep? thats just being stupid, some reasons to go daggers + xbow Dull means that KB does more dmg, KD + dull = 100% dmg increase, just like a warrior. Daggers have bleed, you can open with mortal wound and then swap to bow and finish them off. Daggers dont have a punishment for swapping weps, if you have CE on when you swap to your sub wep, daggers or a shield, you still lose 50% hp. What do you lose when you swap to daggers? Nothing. Just as a warrior needs more then 2h to be effective, a rogue needs more then just xbow or daggers to be effective..

Except that with a rogues already high dmg, bleed more or less ensures that they will die, not to mention you can swap to daggers after KD and do some of the most devastating down-atk skills in the game.

Well, if a wizard is attacking you, what would you do? Knockdown/knockback him? Or put bleed aon him and watch yourself getting killed by 5464654654848 damage from his sun staff? O.o And, at 100cap, bowers will have infinite knockback, but still, you have more range. And about the 50% hp when you switch Xbow=>Something else, that aint really a problem, my pots can refill the hp fast enough. If they dont, one Recovery is enough to get myself to normal hp.

That is assuming that you have cleric sub he has already said he does not want to farm for a sub ^^ and as I said, you need both.. not just one, in the particular instance against a wizard I would use double KB since it hits faster then charge wind, after that I would use KD, and depending on crits or if he was in bless I would use mortal wounds whilest he was on the floor. But nvm, since this is a PvE character then yes you can do without daggers, altho you may still want scud and prick at the very least.

Well my opinion is for Jobbing and Uniques, Daggers are way better because higher dmg and most likely more crits with combos. I have never been to FW myself so i wouldnt know about that. :]
