Cleric Maybe Good For Clannie Clingy Rogues who want to be in guilds... But the true Rogue who is alone and answeres to no1 would excel in 1v1 PvP Debuffs of a Warlock...

Cleric Skills help u Defend urself.. You Dont need Defence if the Person is already dead and that will be the case of a good Rogue...

The Rogue sub debate is raging across 2-4 topics right now.

Cleric and bard are leading contenders

If you know how to use a warlock sub, pls share which warlock skills you use and your atk strategy in PVE and PVP.

Also, information about your warlock skills being resisted would be useful, too (i.e. don't bother casting on full int cause they always resist)

There are a lot of posts claiming warlock is an awesome sub, but no one has explained why it works.

Thanks for all great replies. Tough I'm not sure yet if I'm going with dagger or xbow.. 'Cause in this great guide the TS says this:

''As you can see both weapons are excellent and eventually you should get both and switch depending on the Situation. The weapon you choose for starting off should be based solely on how you play the game. Early on Xbows will be more powerful (40-) but later on Daggers will be significantly more powerful (40+) that is just comparing the 2 builds to each other though. If you (like me) Prefer to rush in and quickly decimate your opponents with superb combos choose the Daggers. If you prefer to artfully snipe the sh*t our of your enemies leaving them in a state of confusion and disarray choose the Xbow. As i said early though your final goal should be to have BOTH. ''

I don't really see the point in having both.. but if that's better just say so :P
Is it true that daggers become more powerfull at higher level?

Thanks.

from what i have test, crossbow is strong at pvp and pve, but the MAIN disadvantage is the hp -50%, and this is the reason why you need dagger /cleric. you have high hp with low defense(got chance to survive if there are more then 2 people pvp you). on the other hand if you have crossbow/cleric, low hp and low defense,(still have chance to survive but low %), cleric can be a very good buff if you buff before you go for a pvp

So Xbow is stronger then daggers, but if the mobs/players don't die before they reach you you're screwed?

at -40 the damage the xbow skillz gve will outdamage the dagger skillz...not by a whole lot but noticeably. At +40 the damage the dagger skillz deals out will start to outdamage the xbow skillz...this will continue as you lvl until you get to the point where dagger damage noticeably outdamages xbow. I've seen pics of a lvl 89 rouge zerked and critting on a lvl 85 mob doing 90K damage. if i can find the pic i'll post it bu that should be proof enough that in the long run daggers will will deal the second highest damage behind mages...

I added some dagger skills, and it seems to be pretty good. But.. I think I die more, 'cause now I take a few hits from every mob, with xbow I was able to kill most things before they reached me. Will this change with daggers? At like 20+?

2 things make the daggers superior:

1- stealth. Add to the stealth atk passive (only available with daggers) it a great bonus.

2- poison boost. I'm not sure how much additional damage you'll gain, but it increases ONLY for daggers.

That, added to high atk speed and more criticals, offer daggers slight advantages over the xbow. If you include health regen from a cleric passive, you should have no trouble taking down giants solo.

General, weak mobs are probably best kept at range with the xbow, but I doubt you can keep the stronger enemies at bay long enough for a safe kill.

I can't find this in the skill window, so I ask it here. Can a dagger rogue do knockdown? 'Cause they have a skill that do more when the target is knocked down..

But now, at lvl 22. It's really pissing me off that I keep dying. It's okay when you have time to plan your attacks and choose your targets. But once a champion, party or giant spawns near you.. you're screwed. I lose more EXP then I get this way and always have to walk to the place where I died is getting very annoying.

If you are Wiz/Bard and use Noise you won't have near the issue you have. Except for Giants other mobs will generally ignore you....for a period of time. However Champions will not ignore you for very long. Party mobs ignore you the same period of time regular mobs will when you have Noise on.

While my wiz does die quite often when solo I find she levels so much faster than any other profession/build. Mass nuking 5 or 6 mobs in 1-2 shots totally reduces the xp lost from a single death every 30 mins-1 hour.

If you like stabbing one mob over and over again until it finally dies, go Rogue or Warrior. If you like mass nuking numerous mobs in 1-2 shots, go Wizard. In all cases I recommend Bard secondary for Moving March and Noise.

If you want to survive almost every possible encounter, go S/S Euro Warrior or Euro Cleric, again with Bard secondary and Moving March and Noise.

@ Gokenzul - I wanna get a perfect confirmation.

Does the Noise from bard prevent only ONE aggro-monster or is it prevention for the whole lot of aggro-mob as long as the time is running ? (Meaning once a monster has been "prevented" then the buff breaks)

It works vs all mobs, however it is less effective vs champions and so far no affect vs giants. I only have level 1 Noise, debating if I should spend any more SP on Bard, so far it works very well.

For example, if I am standing in an area and killing a group of mobs that suddenly spawn another mass of mobs on me when they die, the new mass of mobs will ignore me. The duration they ignore you is somewhat random but very long, long enough to move, run or nuke them.

Again Champions are less effected, to the point they are almost not effected (by level 1 Noise). Giants are not effected or the duration is so pitiful they seem to be unaffected. Party mobs are effected just like regular mobs.

To be more clear and prevent misunderstanding I am NOT sure if the duration of mobs ignoring you is per mob, but I would have to think it is. In all honesty they ignore me until I attack them or, sometimes, if I am standing next to them when I attack something else and even then it is rare to be attacked. Otherwise they don't bother me (normal mobs).

To sum it up, the skill is VERY strong. Unless you have a real good reason to take another secondary, I have no idea why any wizard would use any other profession (unless you really like to heal or res, and in the end who dies most? Hard to res others when you are dead.)

Ok thanx. Yeap this skill really helps a lot for DD with def and hp low. Wizard with this buff on + their fear equals good combination of nuking.

+1

i'm using noise level 2, its good for mobs between level 31-40.

the only mobs i need to watch out for are champs and giants. this is for General/Normal/Party mobs only, they ignore you as if you're not there, therefore you can grind in peace. when i was around level 31, i'm already grinding on Hun Lancers and Archers.

Isn't that sweet?
