Hello everybody,

I think its good idea to farm 44k at stronghold.
If i take a 2 gap till lv 66
then are my masteries
64 pacheon
64 ice
64 fire
Iam sure this can with a 2 gap and 44k sp, ive checked it at sro calculator....

But, I dont know what i want.

80 80, for higher lvl snow, more overal dmg, needs Protectors, so iam 10% slower with walking.. My crits are 30% higher then my normal attack, Buut i have lesser hp.

3:1, i cant run a higher snow shield, i need 40 ice and fire main (lightning second, but ice 40 for snow) My crits are 40 / 45% higher... But my overall damage is lower... But i can survive without snow.

But with 70 70 garments is also good to do. "I like speed"

For 70 70 masteries:
32 fire
90 ice *Not sure*
88 lightning *Not sure*
90 pacheon

For 3:1 masteries:
Fire 90
Light 80
Pacheon 90
Ice 40

Is this correct ? :P

*I think there are much chooses, from diffrent people*

Sooo..... Better to be 3:1 Or 70 70.... Or... "Tell me" ?

You have a better handle on the 2 builds then most people who will respond to this post. Both builds look well thought out and solid. 70:70 can go either prot or garm. I currently am garm for speed and nachal room, not so much for pvp, though I do just fine 1vs1.

With snow shield 70:70 should be a little better in pvp because the tanking ability will be the same as 3:1 using snow shield. Though I can say that there have been many times when I don't have snow shield available, and I needed it. The 3:1 definetly wont rely as heavily on it, a good thing.

Crit damage will be about the same.

70:70 can use splash nukes for grinding, grinding is a bit faster.

Good luck with whatever you decide. Just remember you need to stick with your character into the 50s before it will really show its pvp ability. I sucked anyway at lower lvl, and my gear has always been above average.

do 3:1 with garms and 30% snow shield.
works like a charm and can still take hits once snow shield runs out.
at lvl 80 u're basically looking at 17k hp with max blues, and 11k mp.

i have force so i can pull off close to 70:70 snow shield. 17k hp and 13k mp at 80.

Hello,

Then i was asking myself, if i take:
Masteries for 3:1
Fire 80
Lightning 80
Ice 30 or 40 ?
pacheon 80

How much is a normal hit higher between pure str?
And how about the crits?
I wanna know that :D

Farming @ stronghold 44k (2k now :P)
For 2 gapping till lv 64

Ehh, ive already pvpt at a lv 52 80 80 bower, it was great, only i need snow shield it was in garms and full skilled, but iam not sure for 3:1 or 70 70... What makes the real diffrent from them? 3:1 has more hp... a higher crit.. lower overall dmg..
70 70 lesser hp between 3:1... lower crit.. higher overall dmg... can run higher snow shield...

true ?

People will argue this all day, but... There is no crit difference between 3:1 and 70:70. The final damage done will be the same assuming same skills and attack stats.

Okay that was over simplified statement, because I didnt include defense into equation. Theoretically a 70:70 bow should crit higher on a str character, and a 3:1 bow should crit harder on an int character.
No I have never tested this for the simple fact that I don't have to characters of decent high lvl with similar skills.
I have come up with this fact/theory for the simple reason that I have never seen a pure str bower crit noticeably higher then me, and I have never seen a str blader crit higher then GlaviesGirls hybrid int sword on knockdown.
Hardly scientific I realize but its all I got. Everyone who thinks str crits higher I think is just mislead by seeing a bunch of low numbers and then a real high number. Also to be fair the hybrid int sword was using a +7blade that did increase crit damage. Perhaps an int using a weapon to increase nuke damage won't crit as hard.

70:70 bow

Faster grinding
Doesn't depend as much on crit (higher avg damage)
When using snow shield (40%) can tank as well as a pure str
Can kill anyone or be killed by anyone (I remember Undutchable saying this somewhere, where his pure str bower couldn't always kill)

3:1 bow

Higher hp all the time, helps when surprised attacked, snow shield is recharging, or you are lagging.
more avg damage then pure str bow
can use snow shield up to 30%? (don't really know) and can tank like a pure str.
not as dependent on snow shield
Since ice doesn't have to be to lvl60 for 40%snowshield, more room to put masteries elsewhere.

People say pure str bowers can kill opponents, if that is true than both these builds will kill more quickly, and with snow shield tank as well or better.

I think i go for 70 70 bower <--
It isnt a problem that i need to use snow shield in pvp. only it make me angry if i activate it and a lv 80 user puts lion shout at me^^

But i need to life with it. I do good dmg, can kill very fast, I gonna try it. if it doesnt work for me, i can always change to 1:1 or 2:1 mayby 3:1 if it isnt too late.
