Rogue/Cleric is ok but really it doesn't matter either way. Buffed with Bless Spell and DD is probably the same as not having DD on. Bard has Noise and Moving/Swing March which helps a bit but really doesn't help that much too. Most people prefer Bard because its better for PvE Cleric isn't that great for either because in PvE you move slow and get hit alot and you can't pre-buff with Cleric without breaking stealth which will reduce your Prick by a bunch.

Cleric is easily the better sub for Rogue!
Bless + DD makes you hit hardeer with good def.
recovery dividion and pot delay wont be a problem!

I prefer rogue/cleric, because that way you can support allies. There is many possibilities. With Bard, all you get is Noise and Moving Match. Of course, Bard sub will require a lot less sp, since those two skills gets upgrades once every 10 levels.

I really don't see a point of a Rogue/Cleric.

Clerics ARE NOT meant for tanking, bless/recovery division or not you'll still get owned in PvE in a highly aggro area, same thing in PvP, you need to rely on your damage, you won't be able to tank unless its a blader with a crappy weapon, so why not take Bard for a lot easier PvE experience?

I voted Cleric...

I like cleric better because of what it has to offer (the skills) and it is VERY good for PvP, Guild Wars, Fortress Wars, and parties.

Having a rogue/cleric means amazing damage and good tanking abilities.

But if you want to "hit and run" then get bard but your more likely to get owned more though.

one of the reasons to not take bard is because liek someone else said all it has to offer really is noise and moving march. and like you said clerics aren't made for tankin well neither are bards right? in high agro areas thats why i recommended use xbow to kill from a distance. and if too many get close switch to cleric rod, heaven flash, switch to dagger and scud. in terms of pvp bard has little if anything to offer while recovery division and bless can help you survive maybe one or two more hits which could let you pull off a few mroe attacks. like you said rogues depend on their damage so those few hits could get you the win. Also heaven flash in pvp works too, flash them, scud, switch to xbow and atk away. Well thats the way i see it

Let me keep it plain and simple.

U want to know which is better just look and compare.

DevilIowU Amazing Video,

Rogue/Cleric
http://stage6.divx.com/user/Spun86/video/1797596/Devil_IowU-pvp-compilation

Juey's interesting video,

Rogue/Bard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5wEAjPquVU

No offense,I think Juey by himself is a good Rogue, but as u can see the build itself Suffers greatly from not having any defenses a Cleric Subbed Rogue has.Juey dies...ALOT.

Then Just look at how the Rogue/cleric tanks 4 or so Chinese chars all at once with bless not to mention how cool he looks with all the Cleric buffs, how useful heaven glare is and manages to tank Sun Wielding Players with a simple +3-+4 light armor set.

Actually, rogue with bless/recovery division/healing cycle tanks very well. They are full str, so there is no weakness in their tanking except for a way to regen their lost hp. Cleric fills in that gap. Let's just say that whatever a full str glavier at this level can tank, a rogue/cleric can tank about the same without the extremes.

Sorry but 75% more damage isn't negated by Bless Spell...

Of course dude, I said without extremes. When you have extreme on, you will be one-hitted by party mobs your level. When you need to tank, tank and don't worry about damage.

Rogue Lesson 101: If you use extremes and any mob try to hit you, turn it off right away. :D

If you have a cleric Sub ur lesson is incomplete Chipz but nice thought of.

Lesson nr 202:Switch to cleric Rod and turn on bless. It automatically takes away Xbowtreme when u change to rod and u regain all defences, meaning u can freely walk away from a giant/and or party mobs without fearing to die.
