Hi Guys,

I`m thinking about making a new char, but need your advice.
My char will only be focussed on PVP, 1n1/war/job etc.

OR:

Pure INT s/s (+7 or higher sword + shield)
like 18k HP
Like 42k MP (all on INT)
Bacheon/Fire/Light.
Prot/Armor

OR:

Hybrid Spear (good +5 or higher spear)
like 25k HP
like 33k MP
Heuksal/Fire/Light60/Cold40
Prot/Armor

I know the pure INT makes more damage, but less on survival, and the hybrid better on survival but less dmg then the pure INT. But wich build will have a better chance at PvP at all the builds + kind of PvP(1v1/group/job)?

I know there are many topics, but i really want to know, because i want to make a good pvp char!

First off, if this is only for pvp purposes then why isn't ice maxed or even in the first builds option? Without ice you'll lose every match.

Off topic but when i used to play, there was a lv 95 Spear Full INT FF 95 ice / light / force

Dealed 36 - 37k nukes with divi on my 98 FF ice / fire glavier....

Weak survival but holy crap with the 100% snow and a good armor/prot set thats amazing!

In any PVP build for INT or Hybrid INT characters Ice must be present. You'll die right there without a good snow shield. Imagine if a Force Glavier do a 20k crit with SSE and Ghost spear right there, you wont stand a chance

If you must, make a Pure int S/S that goes: 100 bich/100 fire/100 ice. This will definitely be pure PVP. You get both walls as well as great phy defense that you will need a lot.

If you are thinking of a Hybrid spear: 100 heus/100 ice/80 fire/40 light may work. any combination of fire and light will be good but please...dont skip ice

I understand now that ice is a MUST in pvp, with snow shield + buffs + passive

So with s/s: bich100/fire100/cold100
And with Spear: heuk100/fire100/cold60/light40

This will give me enough power and survival means?

IF i go s/s, i will take for sure a sword with with +10 or even sos/sosun/som that i have the advantage of high damage, then the SP build above is good enough? caush i thought that lightning was a must for nuker builds:$ With taking a +5 or higher shield, with high block rate and armor, I will have a excellent stand on pvp when i use the shields, good ?? (against europe chars + str builds/int builds)

IF i go spear, the SP build that i named above is good enough? because you split SP on cold and light, you take both plus points, but is cold high enough that i will stand on PvP? I mean with a +7 spear or higher, i`ll make good damage as in nukes but also with the heuksal skills..but with like 25k HP, and 33K MP,I will do good?(higher survival, and good damage)

And should i take Armor or Prot with S/S? And with hybrid?

It will be s/s i think, its a better challenge for me i think, to play good with it:)
but i always thought the following think: on a 1n1, nuke him, kd, stabb en take panthom, when on distance nuke him..but you guys are saying to take no lightning when i`m making a pvp build?

And if i take armor, and im standing against a pure int player, will i lose? will my armor set faill? because i`m pure int my int def is good? or not enough? if thats the thing..i`ll take protector every time:)

If you just nuke-kd-stab-phantom non stop you won't do enough DPS, or damage per second, to kill anyone. And there's always the chance that your kd could fail. This is where your chains come in. Yes your an int char so your main damage will come from your imbue, but your chains will still be incredibly powerful if used correctly. One of the reasons why I love a 100bic/h/100fire/100ice pvp build is that the chains, combined with the ice imbue are a deadly combination for anyone who isn't immune, which is actually quite a few people.

Yeah you'll lose if the pure int player has garment or protector. Since your damage is based mainly on int and their armor types offer the two best protections against an int's attack damage you'll lose.

Indeed. Nothing makes me lol more than Smash, chain, smash, chain, over and over. Even lvl 100 pure str euros go down due to pot delay and being frozen 90% of the time.

Btw, holy word doesn't seem to give 100% resist on the 3 chn imbues. Fire ice and light can all go through.

holy word works, they just think its enough and dont bother with jewelry...

So, making a short version of all of this:

Pure INT s/s, sword +7 or higher, shield +5 or higher, high block rate.
Bich100/Cold100/Fire100
Prot/garment for alround pvp

Use nukes + kd/stabb for pvp..
But why use chains for pvp?:$ your pure int..so depending on nukes..but why chains? ok fast damage..but on 1chain. say 7k damage in total..or in the same time 1 nuke with 15k damage?:$

That's what I'm saying, it works, but it doesn't give you 100% resist, hence you need jewels.








Chain and smashes give you debuffs at 71+. Bleed, Impotent, Division, Fear, dull, stun = win.
Btw, I noticed that heaven chain hits a bit more than nukes actually. Nuke for 23k, chain is 5,7,3,4,9 = 28k. That's w/o crit.

Ok ok, i understand, so to use chains you can activate stunn, nuke them and we have a winner=) but is it better to use cold with the chains or just fire?

Fire will give you higher dmg. Ice gives you effect. Some are immune, some are not. I use ice because I like the sound, effect, and graphics of ice better than fire. My friend has both and tested it, fire hits for 38k nukes, ice hits for 37.2k on same mobs. So up to you. Hit harder and kill your opponent quickly, or have the chance to freeze your opponent and watch them die slowly.

go 1:5 s/s and you will see, that you win easy

i can give you only my advice,
i had in this cap glavier-force with +7set/accs +8glavie all stats are 61%+ 6/6str 850hp parry 60% etc.
i never was close to die against s/s nukers even with sun and +9 swords
only against spears i was really close to die and even die sometimes. ,but those spears maybe did on me alot damage,
but they couldnt tank.my damage rape their mp so fast i had debuffs,stun or crit and your mp run to 0, you dont have the available mp to attack , than you die. 60cold 40light is maybe 40% snow but 60cold give you like 106 phy def , and 100cold give you 336 phy def [x3 more]
because as you know if you mp 0 and you have snow , its like you dont have snow.

so for me your question is hard to give you right answer,because i really dislike Int chinese.
they can die while snow and can die after snow.
i can up more point, my friend in cap 90 had +6 set pro sun+7 spear he was hybrid like 87% mag.balanced ,his damage was really high,but he lose alot against other friend with sun+7 glavie-force. so he quit from this char.

in my guild had some players with int chars , and i had myself nuker int lv 96.

i say, if you can get +6+7 set protector , and +7+9 spear - go pure int. and yes fire-cold better light-cold if you want explain ill tell you why.
