what are the pros and cons to both of these classes?

Wizard / Bard ~

Pros:
* Highest damage dealer (disregarding rogue's prick crit / cleric's offering)
* Fast
* Can easily get into pts 8/8

Cons:
* The least defensive build on the euro side
* Not the best for 1vs1

Warlock / Cleric ~

Pros:
* Fastest zerk gain
* Debuffs
* Self heals / Buffs
* Low cooldown interruptions
* Can tank a bit

Cons:
* Being against Holyspell
* High aggro in pts

Only ones I could think of at the moment...

the thing about the aggro of warlock:
you have phantasma / mirage, which decreases your aggro by a lot!
(for example, i debuff passive mob, then hit it with blood flower, ->mirage<- , mob leaves me alone.)

In euro party, Warrior should be able to take down aggro from Warlock, and even if Warlock aggros, healing cycle (if party is under 80) or healing orbit should be able to keep him alive.

I would go Warlock/Cleric..
Just imagine u killing your opponent with a shitload of debuffs, he's dead without touching u.. plus i dont like wizards pvp (1 hit and run to safe zone)

I know about phantasma / mirage ^ ^' , just that a lot of warlocks I've known don't bother to get it, since the warrior (talking 8/8 pts) takes the aggro from 'em....and the interesting thing is, that a few warlocks that I've known used mirage to lure...(well, it worked when I was playing.) ....if they had "protect" the few that aggro'd would go on the tank (w/o taunting), the others'd go for the lock / whoever takes the highest aggro on it in the meantime...

Was always interested in how Astra lured back on venus ...Cam, give some imput!!!

I know warrior should be able to do that. They don't call them tankers for nothing ^ ^'

why would u farm a wizard build, they are made under the misconception that they are strong which they are not. a wizard is for farming and plvling.

a guy in my union farmed 3.5m sp for a wizard/bard build, i just cant fathom what a waste that is.

edit : if you are truly going to farm a build make it something worthwhile. your other option is a fun, worthwhile build to play.

Eh, people like different things; "worthwhile" is subjective. I've known a couple good wizards out there.

Though, wiz are really good in one thing: group pvp alongside tanks, a cleric, and bards w/ dances.

I prefer Warlock/Cleric because if you go builds without a Cleric sub I don't think you will last in any circumstances... Especially if you are a Wizard= Pure Int/Low H.P/Low Physical Defense= LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL... My advise, remember you will not only meet monsters or some int's that easily die... there are some big tankers there like 2-handed sword warriors, glaviers and the defensive bladers which will be also taken account of... And BTW if you're a wizard without a bless spell from a cleric sub one blow from a 2-handed warrior and you'll be sleep tight, earth fence can help ofcourse but for such in a "little" time.
