i need some help picking a build for my blader. I want to get force since i heard it has more damage and does well in pvp. ice is annoying to people who arent immune and the extra def isnt so bad :)
so what would u say is better? and what are the pros and cons for them?
i have considered lightning but getting it for extra speed doesnt seem worth it.
so pick ice or force, and have a reason :D

well, ice would be really defensive and perfect for a tank,

force would make up for the lack of ice buffs with the debuffs
and also increase your damage.

BUT only vs people without holyword, so you can rule out almost all euros,
so vs cleric sub euros, force skill tree wont be worth it

defence buff and passive are a must

get the first lvl of snow shield to tank better, higher than that and you'll run very low on mp while using it.

imbue:
optional but very useful, especially against people who arent immune against it,
just freeze your opponent in pvp with it,
if they complain: your skills, you decision, you paid sp for it, might as well use it.

that blader really rox
but it makes me think what can a bich/fire/force do on 110 gap
-lower force then your debuffs are level8
-lower fire/bich thats impossible
i would take ice and laugh at players with force in the future xD

At above, you're pretty stupid. First off Firce would be 80 and Bich/Force 110, the damage loss wouldnt be that big. You know what you get with 110 force? A debuff that stuns instantly, tell me how ownage is that?

At topic starter :

It's all about what type you are, do you want to be the blader that kills or one that tanks?

after 100, you the 3rd skill tree will only be for support anyway.
so either full force or full ice

at 110 cap will i get 110 ice? or just delevel to 80, which will probably render the imbue useless.
and if i pick force at 110 cap to be 110 bich/force and 80fire?
im leaning towards ice at the moment but i still like the idea of buffing people to do more damage. is the damage like thousands more or something?

each debuff gives youa b bonus of about 10-20% more damage (i think, not really sure if it is)
but it is noticable,
so 10k damage with debuffs would be 11-12k sp

and either you go 110 weapon/force with fire 80
or 110 weapon/fire with 80 ice for defence

the ice 80 would give less defence and imbue wouldnt be really worth it.
fire 80 would give you less mag. defence and slightly less attack power

i guess the ice wouldnt be too useful at 110 cap since the def is lower, also with force ull keep em stunned with debuff and chain anyways.

though im worried that if force isnt that great at 110 cap it would take a lot of money to delvel. with 80 fire and 110 force, if the 3 or 4 debuffs hit i guess itll make up for the damage lost by fire. i guess i might choose to be force. ill think about it some more

i asked about the force tree for 110 cap, joymax isnt willing to give any info about 110 cap, force tree modifications or chinese char modifications in general.

i doubt joymax even have any information on 110 cap. dont they get it from ksro?
im thinking about getting force but the possibility of freezing enemies and more def seemsto be better in the long run

I think it's more like 30-40% (well at least division). The test i've done seem to be around 33-35%, but it can vary cos of the range

well ive decided to pick ice.
the imbue will be helpful and more def cant hurt.
at the higher lvls ill just have to use my chains until i get teh dubuffs on them before kd+stabing them.

thanks to all who posted their own thoughts
