I'm making a wizard/bard and I only take moving/swing march, noise and mana cycle/orbit.

Is mana cycle really helpful if I mainly play on my wizard, or is it actually meant for buffing others? I think it's a little weird if I should switch weapons every 16 seconds...

I'd defiantly get MC. It's the bread and butter of any bard. And you will probably end up barding at later levels to get into more parties.

You can use it on yourself I suppose, it won't be every 16 seconds because you also have pots. But it is mainly for giving mp to other party members while your barding.

If I'm going to be barding I'll need way more skills than moving march, noise and mc which means I need more sp and I dont like farming :(

I actually thought getting MC means I wont need pots anymore, but I guess I'm wrong then?

Thanks

Yes, it's helpful. Weird? I don't understand why would it be weird.
It's a very fast skill anyways.

No you are not. If you have Mana cycle and constantly buff yourself with it when you are running out of mana, I fail to understand why you'd in fact need MP pots. Of course, always carry MP pots with you nevertheless, they probably will be handy in some situations.

Oh sorry, yeah you can use MC every 20ish seconds to refill your mp. You won't need pots if you do that.

I just suggested that to save time you could MC your self and then use an MP pot to save time so that you don't have to switch in between weapons as often.

Also, for barding you only need MC, Gaurd tambour, and MM. You can always make the 2'd bard use Hit march and DOM. Granted you won't be very versatile, but still.
