Hi guys . i have couple major questions about how to be a good battle bard cleric and how is it like ?

1Q . What skills i don't need for my bard tree & cleric tree? i mean skipping it or just putting it on some lvl for the next skill .
2Q . What skills i do need for both trees?
3Q . could i be battle with cleric & bard as solo ? is it even worth soloing [well , i guess when i have no choice lol] .
4Q . In parties , which would be more assistenful ? bard or cleric?
5Q . What are the skills for bards & cleric that would stay on when i swap weapons ?
6Q . is there a way to swap weapons instead of the tool bar? [seem to be annoying with the shield]
7Q . What job should i take ? trader hunter or a thief?
8Q . can i charge off money from people by ''helping'' them out ? [since i got 24m on my other charecter and idk how to mail it {diffrent users}]

Please answer any question with the best explaination you could give . i'll be thankful for everyone who help ^^ !

that is always determined by the builds of your party members and what the party needs.

that is your warrior's responsibility. the warrior mastery has an additional buff bedsides the commonly used fences and pain quota called Protect which can actually pull mobs from the connected character to the warrior. this buff is 100% needed on a party cleric in grinding when the cleric has recovery division on. ALSO having your bard mastery can help with aggro by casting discord wave to reduce aggro from the selected character.

by the way you can aggro far less when you cleric by simply combining recovery division and healing orbit/cycle. spamming the heals in the recovery line is a very novice manner of playing team cleric and will surely aggro every mob in the area to you.

when i party grind, i keep my team buffed with def, str, int, recovery division, holy spell. then i cast healing orbit every 17 seconds and attack mobs with trial cross/overhealing/gut healing/pure offering. in my opinion clerics that do not attack in grind parties are not experienced enough. same for bards.

soloing as a bard is fine, attacks are pretty fast and strong.

As for which is better in a party, usually a cleric is more needed but if there one there, bard is a great support char to have in a party.

Bard skills that stay on are noise, swing march, mana cycle/orbit, probably missed a few.

As for wat job to take, r u in trader or thief union? if not, then just pick wateva u want, it's very hard to be a thief at low lvls tho.

I didn't quite get ur weapon swapping question, but u can put ur weapons in tht transparent box thingy and press Space Bar to use them, (e.g space bar + 1 will use the first slot). For some reason on my euro, i have one of my weapons on the mouse button, just seems easier for me lol.

Read a couple of bards for the skills, i know Guardia has a great bard guide.

3Q . could i be battle with cleric & bard as solo ? is it even worth soloing [well , i guess when i have no choice lol] . I solo with bard attacks, use Recovery Division and Holy Spell from cleric, switch weapons and heal as necessary, I find solo with cleric attacks slower
4Q . In parties , which would be more assistenful ? bard or cleric? depends on party
5Q . What are the skills for bards & cleric that would stay on when i swap weapons ? Bard - speed, noise, mana cycle/orbit; Cleric - Healing cycle/orbit, Recovery Division, Holy Word/Spell, Bless, on others - phys/mag defense (doesn't stay on you)
6Q . is there a way to swap weapons instead of the tool bar? [seem to be annoying with the shield] not that I know of, just practice switching, I sometimes have to try twice to equip shield, my weapons are on my floating skill bar (space +1, 2, 3)
7Q . What job should i take ? trader hunter or a thief? up to you, I was trader, now am hunter
8Q . can i charge off money from people by ''helping'' them out ? [since i got 24m on my other charecter and idk how to mail it {diffrent users}] Bard/cleric one of the better powerlevellers once at higher level - you have no pot costs :P, constant speed, can res when needed

I rarely use Mana Switch, you can save sp by skipping it if you want, the same goes for the Temptation skills

You should have Holy Word (first mastery at 14), you can heal yourself with whichever healing skill you have, bless in tough situations, you have your bard nukes, mana cycle and a tambour. Partying is better for you but soloing is possible. Try to avoid party mobs and giants until you know you can survive long enough to kill them. Soloing becomes easier after level 40 and acquisition of Recovery Division. Don't be afraid to run in situations you can't handle.

Yes, my build is pure int. Damage comes from int stats in this build.

Low level jobbing is very difficult. You'll likely need a hunter to go with you.

You can only use one tambour at a time. You need 2 bards in the party to be able to dance, first does a tambour, second does dance + another tambour.

Swapping weapons - mine are: Slot 1, harp; Slot 2, cleric rod; Slot 3, shield. To switch between them, hold down space bar and press correct button on keyboard. I've found that if I press space+2 then 3 too quickly, my shield doesn't equip, so I now press space+2, lift my finger off space, then press space+3, and I don't miss equipping my shield. Space+1 equips my harp.

As for skills to take, a lot depends on how much sp you have.

As cleric, the skills I use most often are:
Healing Cycle/Orbit, Recovery Division/Holy RD, Group Recovery, Reverse Oblation/Immolation, Holy Word/Spell, Physical/Magical defense buffs, Str/Int buffs, Bless, Overhealing and Glut Healing (pvp), Offering, Innocent/Integrity, Holy Recovery. Faith and Charity passives are maxed. I delevelled the low level healing skills like Healing, etc, once I got Healing Cycle. I don't use the regular cleric attacks because I personally chose bard as my attacking build. Hopefully I didn't miss any skills in this list.

As bard, skills I use:
Mana Cycle/Orbit, Moving March, Noise, all bard attacks, all tambours (Hit March is used only rarely), all dances but you can focus on just Dance of Magic/Wizardry if you need to save sp, all passives, Discord Wave. Skills I don't have - Rave Melody, Mana Switch. Skills I rarely use - Temptation, Mana Wind/Breeze, Holding Clamour/Patter Clamour.

I wear light armour for the extra physical defense and the boost to my cleric buffs. The mp saving benefits of robes and increased healing power as a cleric don't outweigh the benefits from light armour, in my opinion.
