hey i was wondering if 90 Pacheon/ 90 Ice / 72 Force / 48 Light would be good for a pure STR chinese bow :?. I've never made one before and I don't want fire/light as my main imbue cause I like ice better and I think it would be better cause not many monsters would hit me under frost/freeze :], and I would have massive def. Also w/ a high lvl of force I can plvl ppl easier and save more money.

No, that's definitely not a good build.

First of all, what's the point in force 72? The debuffs won't work, it'll really be only for ressing, and therefore a complete waste of masteries.
Secondly, as a pure STR you MUST have fire maxed, even if you are not going to take it's imbue.

If you want cold as imbue for a pure STR and you don't mind losing speed, then go with 90pacheon/90fire/90ice. This way you'll have a good mag and phy defense, fire and ice walls, you'll be able to have and use cold imbue and you'll greatly benefit from the phy atk % buff and passive from fire being pure STR, all that at the cost of losing mainly the speed buff from lightning. If you don't want to lose speed, then there's no possible build using cold imbue as a pure STR.

As raphaell666 said, having force at 72 is completely pointless.

And you should never ever sacrifice Fire for Ice for a pure str.

I don't really want Force for the debuffs, just to help people that are dead or need Hp. I really don't care about speed i'll just wear garments so i have a 20% speed increase, I could just use speed drugs or a horse, but i really want Force at a high level cause I've never made a character with a high level of Force. And I'm guessing that I won't be able to have a high level of Force, Ice, Fire, and Pacheon with good skills. Ty for the help............................
I'M STILL OPEN FOR SUGESTIONS PEOPLE

Yup, if you want force then that's what I'd suggest. Either you take force all the way or don't take it at all. With this build you'll have no speed though it'll do very good at 1vs1 pvping.

20% speed increase is almost nothing when jobbing/group pvping. Also, you cannot attack while mounted on a horse.

A fast and good pacheon pure STR build is pacheon, fire and lightning with 20 cold for 20% snow shield, using fire imbue.

I don't recommend it. What build are you planning to go with? Hybrid? Pure STR? etc.

If you go with that build, I would say don't go pure STR.

What the hell is wrong with you man?? are you new in silkroad?
Do you even have a char which is lv50 or 60+
Or are you plain stupid?

Pure Str = Fire Mastery is a MUST. If you are a pure str and you don't have fire then your build is and EPIC fail.

I see your point in getting cold, When i was new in silkroad [that was on closed beta (Sept/Oct 2005)]
i really love cold mastery especially when using bow and blade cuz i save hp pots and decrease my chances of dying in mobs cuz of freeze/frostbite status, but i got higher level i realized that cold imbue is not worth it to get especially at this cap when everybody is immune.

Don't tell me that you will only get cold imbue for leveling and killing mobs.... What is the point in leveling when you don't want to PVP??

So i recommend Pancheon/Fire/Force Maxed or Pancheon/Fire maxed 80light and 20cold(this build is preparing for 100cap so that you don't need to delevel skills, and getting 90light is not worth it wasting a lot of sp.

No i'm not new, no I don't have a character above lvl 50 cause i quit for like 3 years, and no i'm not stupid I just wanna be different. Also i remember that when i join SRO in like 2006(joined in like march and quit in november) that lots of high lvled pure STRs had ice.Nowadays no Str has ice for his/her imbue. I also remeber one of the highest lvls on Athens at the time that played was a pure STR blader(AntonyHoppkins or something like that :P ) and had ice and pwned like every1.

Well that was on 70cap where you can have 4 masteries. We have 90cap now you can only have 3 mastries.
cold mastries is for int who need snow shield.

P.S. also in that cap has no alchemy to add immunity to accessories.
