So many people have told me how they where fun and easy to play,so I decided to create a Chi Nuker I'v read many guides, but with all the information in there,I kinda get lost and confused. So here some simple question, and I want a simple answer from them #1. I see Nukers using S/S and some using a Spear, what really is the difference, the pros and cons of each?(dont go in too much details) #2. I assume as a Nuker, you use your Lightning & Fire Spells,do you ever get to use your S/S or Spear skills? -ExSoldier

1.ok so listen the advantage of spear its the damage...and only the damage but imo s/s its stronger cause it give u many bonuses..and u still do a very nice damage 2.imo a nuker with no wep skills its not so good...he its best in pvE but ... in pvp u cant do anything without wep skills... oh and if u want a build go light ice bich / fire ice bich ... choose between fire / light

- Spear = higher damage, lower defense which means lower survivability

Weapon skills, as a pure int nuker, are more commonly used when 1vs1 pvping. When in group pvp or at PvE you'll rarely use weapon skills afaik. Weapon skills are good for 1vs1 pvp.

Sometimes... imo.. cuz I fought some nuker pure int ppl
With weapon skills they do more damage? than to pure str builders...
Its just what I observed when they attack.. i guess becuase of the imbue o.O
they just do more or about the same.. o.O
I think it was just some different cases but yeah.. weapon skills r not that useless

I think it was just some different cases but yeah.. weapon skills r not that useless Regular attacks (be it weapon skills) from characters with more INT will always have a higher damage when compared to characters with more STR, as long as both have imbue. For chinese characters, INT = more damage.

If ur going pure int I would go s/s cause u will need the extra defense, but if ur going hyb then spear would be prolly be better cause u wont loose as much damage. As for builds 90weapon/90light/90ice is the "cookie cutter" nuker build but if u wanted to mix it up a little and go 90weapon/90fire/60light/60ice that would also work just fine. With the second build, it works best if u going hybrid spear and use prot. You will loose some phy defense, speed, and mag damage, but u will gain a stronger imbue, more mag defense, and more phy damage. The first one is best with S/S and garms cause it does the most damage and is more pure int friendly with high lvl snow shield. Both build could be used with either spear or sword but as I said different weaps are better with different builds and int:str ratios.

hi hi ex ;P i'd go with a s/s too mainly due to survivability. a spear nuker will do more dmg but the KD and shield really help you out in pvp. also the weapon skills are not as useful in pve (except for the long range bicheon skills) but they rawk in pvp. spear nukers do great damage but have to be more careful against str users..mainly cuz they can't do much (no phys. def buff) or KD to help tank a bit. and ye the 90weapon90light90ice is the usual build..you can try 90 fire for more damage but for the long run..stay with the light/ice have fun grinding ;P

Well, here's Raingul's guide: (It's slightly outdated...) viewtopic.php?t=69675and here's another guide, goes more indepth with the skills (even though it's for hybrid int, the use for 'em are practically the same): viewtopic.php?t=58269&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0gL w/ the build ^.^

well, I kinda followed this guide (if you don't mind sp farming at later lvls you can do this): viewtopic.php?t=47963I didn't use Bow pre-30 ...I just raised my weapon mastery...yea it's slower lvling, but it cuts out the delvling part. But being a chinese on Venus is kinda...eh. Make friends or enjoy a nice long solo grind lol...I did get to 80 in 6 months, though.

If you reread more carefully you'll see this: CobbZ wrote: NOW WE CHANGE GAP! VERY IMPORTANT. We now change to a 1 gap. As soon as you hit level 30, bring lightning up to level 30. Get the nuke. Now, once you hit level 31, dont level up lightning. But when you hit 32, bring lightning up to level 31. Then at level 33, bring lightning up to 32... So on and so forth. Keep a 1 gap ALL THE WAY FROM NOW ON.
