yea i've read this guide on forums (nt sure if its outdated or not) that say that the fastest way to level to lv 30 for INT spear is to be a bow player before lv 30. however the guide doesnt say what skills to get or stuff...so if someone can enlighten me on this topic it'll be great

but if i keep leveling bow skills and mastery to 30, wouldnt i have to delevel a lot of masteries, using a lot of money? thats another point im worried about, since im a newbie and i probably wont have enuf money? im nt sure haha. so if anyone can tell me their opinions on this 'build' i'll be very happy haha.

and wouldnt INT bow be very weak? :(

I would suggest trying to get power level'd. If you find good parties, it would likely be cheaper than delvling masteries.

I suggest you gap0 to 30, then farm at 32/42.

I've leveled several ints with sword, spear, and bow, and by far bow was the fastest of all of them: range+speed = ownage grinding.

Actually, you only level bow mastery and 2 skills to Lv27; Here's what you do: Level up to Lv5 without raising any masteries before you get to Lv5. Then, get lightning and pacheon to Lv5; get anti-devil and light imbue. Continue leveling up keeping a 2 gap from Lv5, so your masterie should be at Lv5 when your char's level at Lv7. At Lv12 (haven't played a chinese in so long, can't remember skill levels) you can choose to add the 2-Arrow Combo, but it's not necessary. It helps a bit, but you really only need anti-devil.

You basically keep a 2 gap till your char is Lv30 (your masteries will be at Lv27 when you're 29), grinding on mobs you can 2 skill/hit. I found that grinding on mobs 2 lvls below my char was the easiest/quickest. You'll only really level up using pacheon with 1~2 skills (anti-devil and arrow-combo). Once you're 30, bam! 1-gap and so on and so fourth.

but if i want to play int spear (actual intended mastery is Heuskal main) is it ok to follow this step too? or will it cost too much to d-level all the masteries?

U could just play int spear from the start, spear still grinds pretty fast and will no hav to delvl. With spear u would still grind on mobs (preferably non agro) that u could shout and use 1 heuk skill to kill.

Well, Yes, it's okay to follow the bow before Lv30 step. It's what I used for my last spear nuker. I don't know which guide you've read, but I found this guide to help me the most: http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=47963

It's a bit outdated as it's made for 80cap, however, it can easily be transitioned and applied to 90cap conditions.

Also, it won't take that much money to delvl the first 27 levels of mastery, or 2 skills. You don't really have to delvl them until later on in levels as well. So, pretty sure money won't be much an issue for when you decide to delvl the mastery.

My advice to you...

Just get your bow mastery to lvl 30 then just leave it...
You will need mastery points at lvl 70 or even later, so you will
delvl then and you will probably have that 1 or 2 mill gold
that is needed to delvl lvl 30 bow...
