Herro! :D
Need help with ratio's for Int and str distribution on hybrid characters, (in this case a hybrid spear nuker).

So...

Whats the best hybrid for a spear nuker? 1:5??? 1:6??? 1:7???
I JUST DON'T KNOW!

Please help, i've never made a hybrid before only pure characters.

Skills for the character will be: 90 fire 90spear 60cold 60light

so what ratio of Int and str should i go?

Thanks

For a 90heuksal/90fire/60light/60cold I'd say that the "best" build would be 1:5, because as you have lower snow shield and phy def than if you had 90 cold, the extra HP and phy def from STR will come in handy.

/agree.

for 90heuk/fire 60cold/light 85% mag.bal would be great (1:5).

1:5 would be the best for the build you have choosen, the extra hp+huaskal passive will combine well.

I disagree. Being a 1:5 hybrid int spear, I have no idea of why you said he should 'forget about nukes'. He'll still be really strong when using them. In fact I believe he must take the nukes also, as he will need them to deal damage.

Well you choose 90 heuksal/fire and 60 cold/light, so I would go 1:5. Your nukes will still deal really nice damage, especially with a spear, and your weapon skills will do really well with the fire imbue. The big reason to 1:5 with that build is because you'll have a 13% lower snow shield and lower phys defense from 60 cold.

If you wanted to do 90 heuksal/cold/light then I would say go for 1:8 or 1:7.

Edit: Sorry, I said the same thing as rapheal and didn't realize it.

to me, 1:5 is never going to have nukes as strong as a pure int with same gears. so better to focus on weapon skills. but by all means, max your nukes and use them if you like, it's just less potent than a pure int's.

1:5 has 45 str points at lvl 90, which means he has 45 less int points than a pure int. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe I can say that the damage from a 1:5 hybrid int spear's nuke will be very near or even higher than the one of a pure int s/s. In my opinion not taking or using the nukes with a build like this is simply fail.

+1

hehe, what will you do without nukes?

as an int build, you depend on your imbue and the magical attacks...

you might have all the fancy attacks and deal alot of damage, but you will realize that the stronger and faster damage is missing.

you can disregard nukes at a 1:1 or 70:70 hybrid maybe
