I haven't played a Chinese character since the Euro expansion, but I'm interested in making a s/s nuker. I'm hesitant about making a Chinese because of the mastery problem. I'm always told Chinese aren't good with just two masteries, so I'm worried if I make one it will eventually fall apart down the road.
I just have a few questions though.
-Should I go pure int or make it hybrid?
-Is lightning/cold/force a good build? That's the one I'm interested in.
-Will cold nukes get better with the updates? Quite frankly, cold nukes do really low damage, and I think they're a waste of sp.
-I very rarely see nukers kill Shaitan. Is it even possible with all the splash they are making?
-Is this build decent at PVP and jobbing?
I'm looking for a solid build that's easy to level and good at PVP and killing uniques. So I hope this build qualifies for that.

Dont have much experience but they always seem to be good at jobbing when I pt with them.

The only thing you need to worry is about deleveling them, because as far as I know the higher the cap goes, the less chinese builds will rely in multiple masteries.

-Is lightning/cold/force a good build? That's the one I'm interested in. I believe it'd do good at group pvp, but not so good at 1vs1 pvp because it'll probably lack weapon skills. I would not recommend you to try that build, instead go bich/cold/light which is more guaranteed to work.

I believe pure INT bich/cold/light would be more 'solid' for what you want.

Its a solid build, with the added mp bonus from force you will be able to take a helluva beating with snow on, force + lighting is a great combo anyway, only cons with this build is that the debuffs have a long cool down, they are often resisted and if you dont manage to cast your impotent debuff, then when snow ends your facked, otherwise its a pretty fun build and one I had up to lvl60.

How long does snow usually last? Sorry. I know very little about Chinese builds.

Snow shield lasts for 120 seconds, or 2min's, with a 60 second cool down, most nukers can kill their opponents within that 2min's, and most nukers also cannot survive the 60 seconds to cast snow again, but there are tactics to live outside of snow, impotent slashes your opponents attack power by as much as 50% I belive, it also lasts for 30 seconds, so in theory provided your impotent and attack rating debuffs dont get resisted or cured, you wouldn't need to use snow very much.

Well, I probably won't PVP a lot. I'll play CTF more, and group PVP is more fun imo. I'm happy to know I won't have to worry about my mastery limit as much as I thought. Hopefully JM will add more so Chinese will be more balanced.
Is there anything else in force besides the debuffs that I should get?

Cure therapy series (against warlocks/debuffs, affects the whole party); Heal series (healing skills); Rebirth Art series (resurrecting skills); Vital Spot Attack series (debuffs, you only actually need the debuffs over lvl 60); Force Increasing (Passive). Chinese will be more balanced? You mean, comparing them to euros? As far as I know chinese will get stronger and stronger in 1vs1 pvping the higher the cap goes.

Why would I need healing? Chinese don't have pot delay. Also, what would I need to get in cold?

There will be times when under heavy damage that your pots won't be able to keep your hp up. Then healing skills will really come in handy. BTW, can anyone tell me how well this build is with uniques?

stronger then a bicheon using nuker, weaker then a full elemental nuker, your strongest attacks need you to be close, the lighting nukes dont shoot very far so you will have to be up close in the action to attack, also your debuffs benfit everyone attacking the unique, so I wouldnt say it was great at unique hunting, although it would be useful in the hunting party, idk if it would get the kill.
