85%:
More phys attack and defense.
Less mag attack defense.
Imbue weaker than pure int.

Pure int:
More mag attack and defense.
Less phys attack and defense.
Imbue will be stronger.

My advice, if your going to be a s/s nuker, try aiming for 90% mag balance or more. 85% is too low to dish out decent nuke damage. Pure int is also good but you will need good gear. Your choice. Every build has its pros or cons. Hope this helped.

I'm making a 85% S/S/fire/light nuker atm. It doesn't *like Sauron said* do very good nuking damage although it's still decent. But it's chains make up for that IMO *Pure int's don't normally use chains*

good thread i also wanna ask a related question here...

after trying out some builds chinese and euro im making a chinese fire nuker right now...bich/fire/ice 90 and light/huek(not sure wich i'll go for) 30

so if i went hybrid like say 87-90% wud i lose too much dmg compared to light nukers??

im currently lvl 20 with bich/ice/fire 20 and light 10

Lol I'm pure int and I use chains, maybe becuz it looks cool lol but the lvl 51 5combo does more damage in total than my most powerful nuke.

Heaven chain does slightly more dmg then a nuke when both are at the same lvl, downside to heaven chain is that it takes longer so you can pot thru it.
Anyway, 85% is better for a spear imo and dont forget that 87% of a pure ints phy dmg is done via their imbue iirc.
