Im planning on making a bardlock. They are my two favorite builds put together. Both skills can use eachother.

PvE. if in party, moving march and maybe dance with another bard. If you are the only bard, just use moving march and switch to warlock rod + shield and go offense.

PvP. thinking of stunning first or sleep and then debuff and then use the other immobile attack, so if i used stun first then second i use sleep, then attack with warlock rod leeching hp when needed and then immobile again and then switch to harp and use bard nukes.

This sound good?

Those two builds don't really support each other that well. It's like a warrior/rogue. It sounds like a good combo in theory but in practice you won't have the time to do all that.

if you go warlock, get a sub that atleast does phy attack, otherwise you will suck against almost all chinese, they will cast icewall and you can't break it, not even with stun.

Like said before, a good Warlock shouldn't let the opponent cast Ice Wall in the first place using Stun and Sleep. If they cast it first and attack you, it's a piece of cake to run outside of their range and wait it out. Stop saying you will "suck against almost all Chinese" because it's not true at all. If you are one of the few people who actually use walls, I applaud you. But nine out of ten times, the opponent will either forget, be caught off guard, or try to cast it and get attack canceled in the middle of the slow animation.

dno bout it if you take cleric as a main, but if you get warlock as main and cleric as sub, you will own most chinese cause 95% of chinese pvpers never use ice wall, and even if they do use it you can run just outside of their range and wait it out. Plus, chinese builds do not have immunity to debuffs at all without outside help.

On topic: Bard/Lock sounds good, you can try running around casting DoTs when solo playing since you have swing march.

Good ideas. The most common tactic is the Bloody Trap + Sleep combo, and if you don't know about it just ask any Warlock over 44 why it is the most devastating attack you can use, and then after debuffing you can use your bard nukes instead of the baby flower nukes. The only thing about bard subclass is that it doesn't offer status protection or healing, so you will potentially die much quicker than someone with a cleric subclass. It may even be a good idea to go hybrid to a small degree.

hey this is thespian from server venus
for some reason i feel like i met u before
are u the person that asked me what skills to take as a bardlock?

any ways on topic
bard and warlock are my fav classes too

in pve if party grinding u can get mana cycle so u can function as a bard in the party, if all they need is warlock cast noise and moving march and switch to ur warlock rod and shield to help wizards clear out the mobs (with de-buffs or stunning mobs that are attking etc.)

as for 1v1 pvp
when ur lvl 1-43 ur combo shud be
stun -> vampire -> debuff(s) -> sleep -> wait for ur stun to recharge -> dots -> stun -> nuke
if after that they're still alive (which they wont be) cast dusk armor if ur fighting a melee stun and nuke

when ur lvl 44+ (lvl 44 u get bloody trap)
vampire -> dots -> bloody trap -> slumber -> debuff -> nuke (twice)
if after that they're still alive (which they wont be) cast dusk armor if ur fighting a melee stun and nuke
in 1 vs 1 pvp i would not reccommend using bard at all
in group pvp
bard alll the way

when i go to ctf i use warlock (with noise of course) and solo a mob (with a lot of stuns hp leeches and debuffs u can do it)
then when we need to kill people i go battle bard
last night i got 20 ticks from ctf of just killing wizards
alll u need is horror chord u can kill them b4 they nuke u

this build works VERY well together
in both pvp and pve
its liek a wizard/bard except we die less... and we can solo some giants

that is the oldest news ive ever heard we all kno what to do
if ur a warlock and ice wall gets casted on u - its simple - curse and nuke themmm ice wall is used to absorb phy damage... so magic damage is still effective

good luck with ur bardlock (best class ever.)

no one mentioned this... but on pure int chars, euro or chinese, just use trap+sleep+dots and switch to bard and time the absolute damage to happen when trap goes off, it will kill them and no worry about sox/+ gear or debuffing them really
