I would suggest you go with the 70:70. I say that only cause its your sub acc. They are both good i think. I prefer the pure str though: higher crits, better tanking ability and i prefer to wear garments (which you can only do if you're a pure str bower). But the 70:70 will have a higher overall damage you level faster. maybe better for you if its your sub which you will be playing not too much. You should wear armor with 70:70 cause your defence is gonna suck. Hope it helped

I like 70:70 bow with 90Pachen/Fire 60 Ice/Light more. But if u want do suge huge crits, u should take Pure str.

The 3 main types of bow builds are: pure str, str hybrid (85 or 90% phys) and heavy int (70:70). They are all good. There are tons of guids written on these subjects. Just look some up on this forum and make the one which you think suits you best. But to be good as a pure str you need to invest in a good weapon, as you stated earlier, with a high crit.

As a full str bow, why take fire as 3nd skill to 90 (pach en force being 1st and 2nd) the damage of elic isnt alot less ? + it has the speed buffs

Lightning is a int build based mastery. with magic damage increase. Fire is more str friendly. You get phys damage increase and magic defense increase, which you lack as a pure str. AND fire imbue does make considerable more damage then lightning imbue. But the speed buffs are nice though, also the parry ratio increase comes in handy. If you want to have lightning, then drop the force but not the fire.

SkyCleaver wrote: Any kinda hybrid bow is fail compared to pure str bow in pvp. SkyCleavers story is total bs. U did good choice but I wouldnt go force since most pills statuses away at highlvl, instead force take cold and u get extreme phydefense which helps against glaviers and euro str builds.

almost any hybrid build is fail the only reason why high lvl's are hybrid's is because they probably made there char a long time ago when no1 knew what to DO

lol hybrids are so outspoken... hybrids have more dps while pure str just stand there waiting for crits... if someone do 10k damage on pure str they take 10k, about 50% of hp. 10k on 70:70 with 40% snow shield is only 6k, also 50% of hp. the difference is that pure str gotta pot 10k, 70:70 only pot 6k. that means less pots=shorter fill up time. also, ghost walk+frost nova is very useful. bow has worst defense, but if ur good with ghost walk+frost nova u will rarely even get hit.

Yeah that sounds good on paper but all should know pure str bow is best.

lol it always depends on the gear ! you can say full str bow is the best because he has sosun ? lol or a 70:70 bow.. its just the same .. it always depends on your equipment and HOW TO PLAY... the Know-How is important you can give a noob a full str char against 70:70 .. the 70:70 will propably win !
Imo i prefer 70:70 overal damage is way more important than depending on crit since snow shield save your ass its the best choice but full str is also good so just make up your mind xD
