There are a lot of posts in the official discussion section which, say tht warlock is a great subclass, but the prob. is
is it as effective as a cleric when using xbow xtreme or DD, since both of these lower defenses and one lowers max hp, so u definitely need cleric's bless, or recovery division, to be able to use these skills effectively, one can always use scud for moving march, since moving march is most useful when trying to escape from a tough situation.

so the doubt is, how does a warlock cover the main weakness of a rogue, i.e sh.it low defense wid xtreme or DD, from wht i can gather these are the only skills tht make a rogue somewhat as good as a mage(i still don't understand y DD is useful if you become so easy to kill??)

also the time spent debuffing,stunning, etc shouldn't it be just used in hitting the hell out of ur opponent and expecting a critical to pop in??

Dude the reason you go cleric is becuase you turn off your DD and bless yourself... im lvl 68 and at this lvl i still hit substancially well without DD, and with decent crit ( 20 ) i can kill anyone with or without DD. Plus i use robe becuase of the faith skill so my healing power is enhanced. if i use DD, its either becuase im in a hurry or just want to crit 25k the fool lol. when i feel confident i turn on DD, such as capture the flag cus i am able to kill 2-3 before dying , so i do my part. by the way , theres a reason why the skill is called DESPERATE Daggers lol its your last option and u should be killing them in one to two hits.

As for warlock, i saw rogue / warlock build on youtube, they basically put u to sleep and finish u off with prick, plus the vampire skill helps to heal yourself. only problem is its not versitile becuase you wont be getting into parties and u will hate training by yourself for its continious stopping for health. also dont expect to do well in multi pvp battles cus your gonna have no defensive strategy against 2-3 ppl so your basically screwed. im not saying dont go warlock, i think its a fantastic and imaginative build which does work, but if you are choosing a build you should know the advantages and disadvantages so you dont feel horrible at lvl 70+ cus i bet you the wizzys are thinking why did i choose to be a wizard when i die 24 7

however if you really wanna be warlock , your best bet is warlock bard.... excellent p lvler and trainer cus u just click on the mob , curse the bitch and run to next mob with 80% speed lol... ive seen ppl kill like 15 mobs in 10 seconds. as for your defensive strategy , you use the map to run away from your opponent ( your faster ) u put them to sleep to stay alive amd use vampire skill to gain full health , use a good blocking shield , and if your not satisfied with with warlock then switch to bard and use the nukes , which are decently heavy in damage. lvl 90 warlock is around 13k hp, but if u are really worried about dying too much , no harm in making 90% hybrid for the hp , u still hit hard and basically paralyze opponent

just one last thing mate... some people choose to ruin the game and get the PK2Edit file, which basically allows them to see ppl in stealth / invisibility and stop warlock curses from occuring... just be aware these noobs exist and will always be around to ruin your gaming experience. so there u go , 20 minutes of my life gone for you

Have you ever tested this. Because me and some other guys are wondering if the faith skill works when you switch back to daggers/xbow. (I assume you mean this)
