1st of all im a 64 Xbow rogue/bard
basically my plan was to get my rogue to the cap, Dlvl the bard and max out cleric, plus max the dagger skills i hadnt famred (cuz they arent that helpfull pve-wise).
but then i had an idea of just getting warlock instead of cleric, and not farming daggers at all.. which turned out to actually cost less sp than having dags+cleric after calculating both*.. moreover i thought this might even be better than the usual "dagger/lock" sort of thing as all what ill do will be ranged, and ill be focused on just 1 weapon for both pvp/pve , and therefore being able to get a +7 Xbow instead of a +5dag, +5Xbow for example. I will also still 1 hit everyone after the debuffs -at least i think so- , since it wont matter if i do 25k (with Xbow) or 30k damage (with dags).
so is this a wise move? will i be strong enough with the lock sub+Xbow skills?
let me know what u think.. :?:

*My calculations were as follows:
warlock MINIMUM :130k
cleric MINIMUM :90k
bard MINIMUM :67k

Basic Rogue :78k

dagger added :92k
crossbow added :67k

Xbow+ Warlock = 275k sp
Xbow+ Dag + Cleric = 327k sp

Well, Xbow isnt that bad at pvp. The only thing is, daggers are a bit better, thats why most people like them.

Hmm, you can try out the Xbow/Warlock build, would be kewl.

Rogue/warlock is a fail , the idea of a rogue is hit and run (go stealth 1hit and run) so you really dont need the debuffs, + xbow is meant for far ranged attacks, but you need to get close to your enemy to debuff him/her go for rogue/bard WITH dagger skills

1-actually it is something already established that bard is not even considered a sub in pvp because it does absolutely nothing at all (speed drugs for speed).
2-loads of people say the idea of being a rogue is hit and run.. exactly who said so? i mean, u r the one who determines how to play ur build right?
3-even if i want to play the hit and run style.. who said warlock sub prevents me from doing so? i can have a warlock sub AND hit and run.. u know.. who's gonna stop me from doing so? 8)
4-warlock is just a sub.. i dont have to use it all the time.. just when needed, like against a stronger opponent such as a blader or a 1H warrior (who can stop me dead without the warlock, just by his passives).
5-warlock isnt only for debuffs.. stun/sleep fit the rogue theme perfectly.. cuz the main problem with rogues is that they r too fragile while using DD/XE. a stunned opponent wont make use of that u know
6- rogue/bard is too traditional and monotonous, and i think everybody agrees to this, and everybody agrees that warlock is more fun as a sub, right?
conclusion : rogue(dagger)/warlock IS good.. just trying to know if Xbow/lock can be even better (with less sp :D )

you'll lose a lot of range using warlock than xbow...

range is xbow's only real strength since the attacks take a while
like reason people say its bad to pvp using only nukes, well xbow is same since all attacks are like nukes and slow

i guess ur right.. but i dont intend to use warlock all the time u know.
if i can just snipe the opponent from afar and get it done, so be it.
i also think the slow attacks wont be much of a problem, since ill stun first anyway.. idk, its just that ive never seen this build played b4
but still, Xbow attacks arent like nukes! u have kd and kb with warlock stunns.. so i cant really compare the build to a nuker
