If you fight a unique, and you die and you go back with a reverse return scroll, do you still have the chance to take it? I mean does the dmg you made dissapear when you go back to the town....if you got my question And also, when you DC and you want to use a reverse scroll, it will teleport you where you want, no matter that you were Dc, right? Thanks in advance for the answers

i believe if u go back to town, ur dmg resets. and yes, if u use reverse return after u dc, u go back to wherever u teleported/died.

You sure about it? Because in the begining, when my BF got his first kills he didn't even had reverse return scrolls, i've seen him dieing on Shaitan, going back on horse and still getting the kill....

Damage doesn't reset, It only doesn't count when you're not in range of the unique.

So basicly, the damage you made on the unique still counts after you are back in his range. And if you have done most of the damage, but in the time of the kill you are out of unique's range, you won't get the kill, but if you're dead on the ground in unique's range you will get the kill? I got it right?

I think someone told a story about him and his party a long time ago. The party member died, appeared in Hotan, and when he still was in Hotan he got the kill..
(I'm not sure if it's true btw)

I got it right? Yeah It's right, a wizard should of had the kill in our party a few days ago but there bot took them to town And no way you'd get kill stood in Hotan, you have to be in range.

Well, seing this thread, I tried something similar, but with a giant mob, not an unique. I've got a low level (12-ish) euro, and I got a giant to about 5-10% of his health. I died, and teleported back to the spot. I killed the giant but only got like 5-10% of the EXP I'd gain from actually killing a giant. I got slightly more than a normal mob would give me, hence damage is cancelled for mobs. Don't know about uniques, though.
It would be abnormal. Imagine a lv 90 solo-ing saytan for 99,99% of his health, dies, teleports back, but in the meantime, a level 80 appears, zerks, and kills Saytan. If the damage would cancel out, the lv 80 would get the kill, right?
Sounds pretty much illogical to me.

Sounds pretty much illogical to me. That's Silkroad I've hunted enough uniques to know It's the way it works. Take last week as an example, 8 in party all waiting in same spot, Shaitan spawned our party got there first. 7 in party were Chinese STR builds, no nukers, and one was a wizard. The wizard died less than quarter life and went to town. The kill came up as one of the STR builds. I've also seen someone reverse back more than once at a unique and still get enough damage to get the kill. If you die and have no reverses wait for a res or lay dead, if you've done enough damage the kill still could be yours. Uniques = Party damage = Party with most damage gets the kill followed by the person with most damage. That's why namely Rogues and Wizards get the kill. If you're out of range your damage isn't counted. EDIT: And no-one can solo Shaitan People party for uniques because they know It's party damage and when someone dies on my server people scream at them to stay where they are and not to return to town because It's bad for the whole party.

If your total damage is higher than the second party member with highest damage you still get the kill no matter where you are. The damage doesnt reset it's just that the probability of u having the highest damage decreases since theres a period of time when you're not attacking while someone else is...I once died at isy and on my way back to her she died, I was out of range but still got the kill...No Exp/drops gained though since she was out of sight
