Does the party your in affect the chance of you getting a Unique kill? For example, if i was in a full 8/8 party and all the 7 other members were with me killing the same unique, yet i was doing the most damage, would that give me an advantage to if i was on my own killing the unique?

Yeah, the party that does the most damage gets the kill and the member in that party that does the most damage gets their name up.

and just another little say about the parties:
If any player in that party dies and resses back to town, all their dmg is given to the person with the highest dmg in the party. For example, if there's a isy party with 8/8 people who do the most damage and 7/8 of those people die, then that last person will get the kill regardless of how much dmg he did.

I'm not totally agree with the above said.
I was plvl by my friend and Lord Yk spawn we don't know where he is ,so we just follow some guy and when we finally met Him he almost 50% down and 5 players are tanking him, so we join them when the Lord YK got killed it's was the guy who is with us got his name up :?:
So i think is the last hit that own the kill not the most damage IMO

It's been proven that its the most dmg, last hit is just stupid..You can wait till the last moment and then shout him to death to get the kill >.>

I died during isy, and 1 of my party did not. I got ressed, but still got the kill (no I wasn't able to do any damage after I got ressed.)

Also, anntoher time, a friend of mine got the kill when he rescurrected in Hotan. He appeared in Hotan and saw his name killing Isy.

He said 'resses back to town'. That means if they are outwith the range of the Unique when they are alive, they don't get the kill. It's like when a giant kills you and you res back to town. When someone else finds the wounded giant and kills it, they get all the items and some exp while you get nothing and nothing.

Never seen that happen before, but he wouldn't get any EXP/SP, so he would just be doing it for the glory... I suppose that's what most people do it for.

^ True. He did get the kill but no exp. And yes, I think that many people kill uniques for thew glory, why would a lvl 80er kill TG if it wasn't for glory.

Its a glory to show the whole server that you can kill an unique. However, I dont think its a glory when a lvl 80er kills TG/Cerb. Give the low lvls a chance too.
Show your guild you've managed to get patience and let it be rewarded.
