I was wondering if we are allowed to have one computer for stalling and one computer for leveling (Even though im pretty sure we are allowed.. just making sure). If we are allowed, please answer the following question =D
1) Since my other computer is downstairs and i dont want to move it upstairs, how can I view the screen from the computer upstairs. I seen my friends do it to their computers before, but im not quite sure how to do it.
My computer is windows xp Thx for the help.....

You can do it with a kvm switch with REALLLY REALLLY long (and expensive) cables.

Easiest way might be to install a VNC server on your mother's computer, and a VNC client on your own. That way you can view what's happening on your mom's computer by logging on to it. Unfortunately I have no knowledge of Windows VNC servers (I use Linux for that), but I'm sure Google will help you out.

I do the samething. I suggest you just buy a router. Also you will need a lil reciever antenna for your other pc.

Actually, I'm not sure any VNC server currently supports directx, so this may not work for you for SRO. If your computer is fast enough and has enough memory, you could consider installing virtualisation software like VMWare, and run 2 windows with 2 SRO on one computer. You could also invest in a cheap computer capable of running SRO well enough for stalling purposes.

You could also invest in a cheap computer capable of running SRO well enough for stalling purposes. SRO works fine over VNC, at least for viewing your stall, which is what the topic starter wants. I used to have TightVNC server and OpenSSH installed on my XP box at home. Then I would open an SSH connection from work to my XP box, and tunnel VNC through that (so it's encrypted) and check on my stall. It was very slow, but allowed me to at least see the stall and chat with people. If you can put up with HUGE lag, it's not so bad. The lag wouldn't be nearly as bad with both computers being in the same house. Install the VNC server on the "stall" computer, then on the main computer, I believe you can use Remote Desktop (Start -> Accessories...) to connect to a VNC server. You just put in the IP address of the "stall" computer and enter a password (if you set one through VNC).

Two PC's running two separate clients is completely allowable. I do it myself. off topic... I've heard that Server 2008 allows for really nice VNC connections...they're getting closer to the hardware than ever before. I think it might even allow running 3-d games over a TS connection using RemoteApp Man, I should get out of the game for a bit, and go install that eval copy I got from the launch.
