I've played this game before, a few months ago, but never got very far (~20). Now I want to get back into the game, and I'd like to know what would be the best option for me to start with. I've tried using the search function but I haven't really found anything which answered my question well. I don't know much about the european characters yet.

I'm looking for a set-up which allows me to level at a decent speed, without having to SP farm a lot. I'd like to get to a decent level first, so PvP potential isn't important to me. I just want to be able to level at a decent rate without needing a lot of farming/money/etc. I'd also like to know about what server is a good choice to start, I'd like to avoid botters as much as possible but I do like to be able to log in.

Any help would be appreciated.

many euro characters, if you just take one class, usually require little to no SP farming at all, are good with NPC gear, so u dont need a lot of gold. They are also decent levelers, some are really fast also, and some are just, cheap.

Is it possible to solo well on a European character? What would be good weapon choices for PvE?

if you wana go solo, become a Rogue. I just created a Rogue myself and is a low lv so far. Within their skill tree, they are able to use xbows (crossbow) and daggers. The Crossbow have the longest range in the game and are very strong. Thsi is idel for fast lvs. You just need to stand in one spot and kill, kill, and kill. Also, the rogue can go invisable. If you do get to a decent lv and wish to do some jobbing or PVP, the daggers will your weapon of choice. They are capable of taking down a person fast.

I use bard as a subclass, because i like speed.
For the bard, you only need 2 skills: Moving March and Noise. Moving March ups yours speed greatly(Highest in the game). While Noise, prevents monsters from attacking you. If you have noise on, monsters that would normaly attack, wont. This is perfect so you can lv fast without having to worry about being ganged by monsters.

As for servers... all of them have bots. Joymax did announce that they will do a massive bot ban, so getting into servers should be easy. If you haven't chosen a server yet, join up on Zeus. I can show you around and such. Answer any Q's that pop up.

Send me a PM or something and i will give you my in-game names for the characters i use.
