 Post subject: Deleting a character in order to re-create it?

Sorry for the wrong section but I really need an answer within the next few minutes, you see, a friend doesn't want to lose her main character name and she's wondering if she can create a character with the same name once the old one is completely deleted.
Once again, I am really sorry for going off-topic...

You can reuse a name on the same server, even after char deletion.

i was under the impression that you could reuse the name as well. ive done it before. when did they change this?

I did that awhile back after deletion, thats odd, maybe they just changed the way the server stores the players, so a spot still exsist for that player, at least the name space, or spot, doubt its using name spaces, which means after servers get shut down and back on you could use the names again but i'm ranting here... so you really can't re use huh, damn i was going to do that, oh well i'll just make a new name
