Can you really chargback all your silk to get all your money back? People are saying this in various places... If you can, is it legal? hehe i'll probably chargeback everything once i quit the game if i can =D

im kinda in the same situation as you.
i quit sro and i want to do a chargeback.
The problem is, my friend bought silk for me through paypal.
I'm not sure if its illegal to do a chargeback or not so i dont wanna get my friend in trouble or anything. It's also a big hassle, i heard u have to call the credit card company and stuff. :(

:!: :!: You can't get a ChargeBack, lol if you bought silk, that is it, you cannot get your money back, because, let's say you used an item, that you can only use once and it is premuim.... It's not like they can bring it back. You spent money on it. And only because you are quiting, Doesnt mean anything, it is your problem that you have bought Silk, and spent it. :!: :!:

Paypal or credit card purchases can be canceled (do a chargeback). Usually if you do so you have to provide a short explanation for your actions. There is also a limited time window to do this, and I think purchases greater than 6months or so cannot be recalled back (check with your credit card provider). The problem with doing a chargeback, especially with paypal, is you can get your account frozen or blocked should Joymax make a counter complaint (which they have the right to do should your chargeback be unfounded). How often this happens I do not know.

Is it illegal? You certainly have within your right to invoke a chargeback should you believe you didnt receive the goods or services you paid for, but theres a blurry line between satisfaction and exploitation of the chargeback system. So reconsider before going through with it.

People chargeback all the time, there is a time limit, I heard it is 90 days for paypal, but don't quote me.

Just be warned that if you ever bought silk for someone else there character can/will get banned.
It usually isn't a permanent bann, but do you want to take that risk?

For all the gold buyer assholes who quit a character, chargeback and switch to another character.
If you are a gold buyer and use the same credit card for silk road, you won't be able to use that card again for gold, at least with supgold.
Hmm wait that means that joymax and supgold talk to each other doesn't it. Maybe I am the asshole for not buying gold then.
