farming is a method of gaining SP (skill points) to buy skills at a later lvl
rather then work for them then.

Its normally done at lvl 16 within the bandit stronghold and normally u keep killing
monsters until you lvl up, then you de-lvl back to lvl 16 and carry on killin...all
the while you will be collecting SP, and soon enough you will have enough SP for
your high lvl skills. Around 300k for 3 full skill trees.

My freind you are slightly out of date, that method is rarely used anymore.

As for topic poster, most people farm at incriments, or powerfarm at ongs in europe. The later is the most popular form.

sadly, to me the 2nd greatest death of jobbing system, why risk loosing money when jobbing when you can make 2 m an hour at ongs power leveling people

satman is even more out of date when he thought 300k was enough, 90 cap is out now and the sp is quite a bit more.

Though for fun you can still farm at bandit den.
