Hello! I must say I am new to the game, but just reached level 20 and I need some answers before I decide how I should go on from now.I read most guides for char creations and other different ones and none answers many important questions when it comes do making decisions.
I like to do my own math and decide myself which is best,so here are the few questions I can think of right now and could not find answer to:

- How does each attribute point(STR/INT) reflect in each of the important abilities ? (i.e. 3 str points give 30HP,1 phy attack and so on)

- I still find quite confusing the magic attack/physical attack part.I would have expected the magical attack to be something separate,then it is on the weapon as well.That being said,it is not clear which skills apply to physical damage.There are skills that give +3% physical damage.There are skills that use the weapon and deliver a magic attack that gives a certain bonus like the fire/lightning buff.I have not invested in all so I would really appreciate it if someone could clear this matter out for me.

- Most skills give you an attack,is that a bonus applied to your current stats? And what is the percentange near it ?

- How does parry ratio affect taken damage? (Numbers appreciated).

- What does each balance mean and by what numbers ? I have put everything till now in STR and I am a glavie user,but I would like to decide for myself I shall go on like this.


- What does hit ratio mean and by what numbers ?

- What is the current limit for level and what is the one for masteries ?
(saw different one,in different places,between 70 and 90)


Now a few alchemy questions:

- Which items are worths being destroyed ? (how can you tell ?)

- What are the numbers for each attribute that affects the success of the alchemical action ? (i.e. how much does lucky powder affect the success rate ?

- How much is the effect of a potion amplified by your stats ? I am asking this because I want to solo a loong way and was thinking of taking, even if maybe just temporarily,a self heal skill tree.

I know that these are many questions, maybe some not formulated in the best way, maybe some with a straightforward answer and maybe some with no answer for the moment, but any help is really appreciated,
because I really don't like struggling in chaos

ok a couple of these I can answer before I leave work.

As far as Str or INT points the main consensus is to either put them all one way or the other. Pure STR build or pure INT build.... or go with a INT based hybrid which is usually 2:1 INT:Str /or 90%mag balance (Str based hybrids do not seem like a good idea IMO)

as far as specific numbers I dont have the time to figure it all out maybe someone else can

the Mag atk and phy atk is based on your current mmag and phy balance ratio... its basically one long equation there are a few mathematical posts in here somewhere doing the damage calculations for INT and STR based builds

if you go into the Characters and Skills section just about every question you asked is answered in there except for some of the alchemy ones. Alchemy is basically like playing a slot machine. Pull the arm and cross your fingers.

As far as soloing you can do it all the way to 70 using only potions. The healing tree is mainly used for the Harmony circles, though there are a fewq healer types out there I cant comment since I am not one of them.

Hey,StreetRat! Thanks for the reply,but I am mostly about numbers so I can decide for myself what exactly is best.I will look for those 'math' posts and in the meantime any feedback is really appreciated.
