Personally I like using bard as a subclass to rogue. I did that for my rogue on Venus back when it was alive. It's nice having moving march for speed and noise to prevent mobs from attacking you until you attack them. Noise only prevents up to a certain level (generally several levels above you). I generally about 2 or 3-hit everything I grind on, so they're usually dead before they have a chance to hit me unless they have ranged attacks.

I'm not familiar with warlocks, but from what I understand, you'd hit HARD with a rogue/lock, but you won't have any protection for yourself in case the mobs (or other players) hit you back. So I prefer bard first as a subclass, and probably cleric as an alternative if you don't want bard.

Just my humble opinion.

Today i really noticed how much they switch to shield and rod against me(eventually got raped by me), really being rog without cleric, you're so screwed.

Which is fine for PVP, but if you're doing PVE, it's nice to have noise as well to help prevent mobs from attacking you.

If your pure str dose it really matter if you get attack by other mobs lol i mean if you were pure int like wiz then yeah but not pure str rogue mostly if he has cleric skills it would increase his phy dff and mag dff so...

Well when I used to play my rogue, I would often grind with xbow xtreme on, which cuts your available HP in half. I think it even cuts your physical defense (maybe magical?) down as well. So an xbow rogue with xbow xtreme on needs extra protection.

Whether that protection is by using noise for the preemptive attack prevention, or cleric healing skills, I guess that can be up to the user. I'm not sure which is better myself. I always just preferred to not be mobbed in the first place when my pure str HP is cut in half.
